Pacify the eight fears and increase life and power, With the fierce power of subduing the three realms, Avert all unfavorable circumstances, And grant me supreme and common, All the desired wishes, Please come for the sake of bestowing all! Infinite Light Buddha, lotus family, Born from the face of the Lord of the World, Completing the activities of all Buddhas, Noble Tara, I prostrate and praise! Thus it is said. She who possesses eyes like lightning, Heroine Tare Tuttare, From the lotus of the faces of the Buddhas, Born from the stamen, I bow to you. Like the full autumn moon, She who possesses a face like a mandala, With the hand gesture of supreme giving, Holding an utpala flower, I prostrate to you. From the prison of samsara, Tuttare, With Svaha, pacify the afflictions, With the essence of Om, Opening the door of Brahma, I bow to you. From the eight great fears, Protecting all the worlds, Becoming the mother of all beings, I prostrate to Mother Tara. With the crowns of gods and asuras, Placed upon the lotus feet, Saving from all poverty, I prostrate and praise Mother Tara! Thus praise. Recite the twenty-one praises of Tara twice, along with the mantra of prostration. Remembering the benefits, recite the reverence to the goddess once. Second, offering the mandala is: Om Ah Hum! Mine and limitless sentient beings', Bodies, enjoyments, all virtuous accumulations, Four continents, Mount Meru, sun and moon, Divine and human enjoyments, inconceivable, Samantabhadra's great cloud of offerings, Constantly transforming and arising, Offering to the Three Jewels, precious root three, Dharma protectors, ocean of wealth gods, And the inseparable lama, venerable mother, And all their retinues, With reverence, I always offer, Supreme accumulation of great merit.
