Here, diligently practice and cultivate the path. This is the practice of illusion. Third, to manifest the essence of clear light's true nature: By focusing the mind on the deities of the heart chakra along with wind practice, all the retinue dissolve into the nature of great bliss. They merge into the principal deity. In the heart of the principal deity, focus the mind on the very subtle blue letter ཨ་ (Tibetan: ཨ, Sanskrit Devanagari: अ, Sanskrit Romanization: a, Literal Chinese meaning: A). By relying on placing the three—wind, letter, and mind—in a state of faintness, coarse, subtle, and very subtle thoughts cease, and one rests in the state where the uncorrected nature of awareness dawns nakedly. By repeatedly familiarizing oneself in this way, as one falls asleep, assume the vajra posture and focus intensely, and the wisdom of experience and realization will arise. This is the practice of clear light. Fourth, measuring the extent of dreams: Strongly generate the intention that all appearances are dreams. When experience arises, cultivate the skill of the illusory body. In particular, as one falls asleep, assume the vajra posture, and with wind practice, focus the mind on the deities of the throat chakra, so that the retinue dissolve into light in the nature of bliss and clarity. They merge into the principal deity. In the throat of the principal deity, focus the mind on the very subtle red bindu, which has the nature of bliss and clarity. Think, "This is dreaming a dream." Finally, hold the mind solely on the bindu, and as you fall asleep with gentle wind, first you will recognize dreams at will. Then, mix it with the illusory body and arise as a deity form. Mix it with clear light and rest in a state of non-conceptuality. Mix it with emanation and transformation and train in viewing buddhafields, etc. This is the practice of dream. Fifth, the practice of transference: Inside the central channel, four fingers below the navel, like a bamboo node, a moon disc tightly blocks it. Above that, focus the mind on the white bindu, the essence of awareness, which has the nature of wind, appearing bluish, throbbing and flickering. Once you have grasped it, stimulate it with wind practice, causing the deities of the secret place, along with wind and rays of light, to rise intensely. Caused by touching below the moon disc, the bindu leaps up and throbs. Visualize it rotating counterclockwise around the principal deities of the four chakras, merging into the heart of the buddha and dakini at the crown of the head. Move the lower wind, expel the upper wind, turn the eyes upward, and say ཕཊ་ (Tibetan: ཕཊ, Sanskrit Devanagari: फट, Sanskrit Romanization: phaṭ, Literal Chinese meaning: Phat). Mix wind and mind and rest equally. Again, by saying ཨ་ (Tibetan: ཨ, Sanskrit Devanagari: अ, Sanskrit Romanization: a, Literal Chinese meaning: A), the bindu does not

Visualize the heavy bindu as residing steadily at the navel. Practice this repeatedly until signs arise. When applying it in practice, as the bindu rises, the base body, along with the deities, dissolves into the Buddha Dakini. Visualize that from the opening like a wide-open aperture of Brahma, like a bird flying, you depart to the pure realm of the Khachod and rest in equanimity in a state of awareness without distraction or gathering. This is the practice of Phowa. Sixth, the practice of Bardo is: Think that all these appearances are the state of Bardo. When experience arises from this, entrust your mind to Vajravarahi, inseparable from the wind-mind of Bardo, along with the deities of the body mandala, radiating immeasurable light of bliss-emptiness, pervading all containers and contents, purifying thoughts of attachment, hatred, and delusion. Consider the essence of mind, the nature of wind, and all aspects of bliss as arising in the form of the Dakini's body, empty of appearance, empty of sound, and empty of mind-wisdom, as the path. Hold the mind and mix all thoughts with the three vajras, practicing diligently with Phowa. If such arises spontaneously without needing to meditate, it means you have mastered Bardo. This is the practice of Bardo. As a supplement to these practices, when practicing Tummo, when sleeping at night, sit in a squatting posture with the six fire hearths bound, blow breath into the navel, focus on the "A(藏文:ཨ,梵文天城体:अ,梵文罗马拟音:a,汉语字面意思:阿)" and fall asleep, stabilizing the flow of warmth. At times, hold the breath and perform the wheel of the abdomen striking the spine. This will suddenly ignite the warmth. At that time, strip the body naked and wash with clay and cold water, perform a great oil massage, and place a great blazing fire in front. Generate and dissolve into the nature of Padma Dakini. Visualize the fire of wisdom blazing from the body, pervading all inside and outside of the body, generating immeasurable bliss and warmth, and circle the blazing fire around the body, reciting: Om Padma Bharahi Jnana Jwala Ram Ram Ram(藏文:ཨོཾ་པདྨ་བྷ་ར་ཧི་ཛྙཱ་ན་ཛྭ་ལ་རཾ་རཾ་རཾ,梵文天城体:ॐ पद्म भरहि ज्ञान ज्वाल रं रं रं,梵文罗马拟音:oṃ padma bharahi jñāna jvāla raṃ raṃ raṃ,汉语字面意思:嗡 莲花 嘿 智慧 火 惹 惹 惹). This will master the skill of warmth. For those of lower faculties, the material Tummo is: Take the gall of a wild yak that has not cooled, add three hot medicines, three hot herbs, nutmeg, cardamom, and yeast, dry them, grind them into a fine powder, mix with a lot of fat and alcohol, and roll them into pills. As before, visualize yourself as Padma Dakini and recite the mantra.
