Bhyaḥ, this is the stage of preparation. Then, encouraged by the signs and responses of the formation of the main practice, visualize oneself as Padmā Heruka and the consort Padmā Ḍākinī, transform ordinary perceptions, bless the chakras with letters, manifest the three bodhicittas, as described in the section on samaya mudrā, generate bliss through the ascending and descending joy of up and down, increase it upwards, spread it everywhere, stabilize it in place, and repeatedly familiarize yourself with these states of non-thought, so that the bliss arising from the union of skillful means and wisdom, channels, winds, and bindus, completely fills the mindstream equally and accordingly, and all phenomena appear as the clear light of emptiness, the wisdom of bliss and emptiness inseparable, appearing as an example beyond expression. This is the practice of karma mudrā. Fourth, training in Mahāmudrā: with the dharma mudrā, one's own body appears as the deity body of great bliss, like an illusion; with the samaya mudrā, the fire of desire inseparable from tummo brings forth the power of bliss with skillful means in one's own body; when the indicative example wisdom arises in the continuum as the near cause of karma mudrā, thereby indicating, the signified meaning wisdom meets each other in the manner of self-awareness, and is decided. To gain stability is the ultimate luminosity of learning. Know it in detail during the instruction of the fourth empowerment. Such a profound path is the ultimate of all swift paths, so if practiced in great secrecy, supreme accomplishment will be quickly manifested. Therefore, those with sharp faculties who have gained warmth should strive only for this. Samaya. Fourth, the ultimate of the wisdom vajra completion stage, the practice of primordial purity, is: after the complete bestowal of the word empowerment, O sons of the lineage, listen! There are three instructions related to the fourth empowerment: the view is to ascertain the dharmakāya, the meditation is to experience the sambhogakāya, and the action is to train in the nirmāṇakāya. First, the ascertainment is: in a secluded place, abandon the activities of body, speech, and mind, and do not separate from the immeasurable experiences of weariness and renunciation; on a comfortable seat, straighten the posture of the body; exhale stale air with a "sang" sound; rest the mind in a state of non-thought for a moment; then, the common preliminaries and

Have faith in the Guru Yoga, and be certain that the Guru is the Dharmakaya of the Buddha, unite your mind and heart and hold the mind. Then, affirm that all external appearances are the self-nature of dreams, the arrangement of illusions, the self-nature of the deity's great bliss, and merely appearances imputed by the mind. When various thoughts of clinging to self and mine arise in the inner mind, awareness, vividness, and nakedness, recognize them, investigate their origins, look for flaws, and when the house of mental events collapses without finding anything, be certain of that. Then, the nature of mind, which is the non-duality of grasping and being grasped, the original state of awareness, separate from the five aggregates, not compounded by the eight consciousnesses, beyond all extremes of elaboration, experienced through individual self-awareness, yet inexpressible like a mute's dream, inconceivable like the bliss of a young woman, affirm that this very moment of ordinary consciousness, the uncorrected awareness, is the original state of primordial purity, the Great Perfection. Generate certainty, separate from the husk of experience and abide. Second, the actual practice is: Thus, in the nature of immaculate awareness, there is neither one nor many, no color or shape, no inside or outside, and not even a particle of the characteristics of elaboration. This great emptiness was not created by the profound Buddha, nor was it modified by clever sentient beings. It naturally abides within itself, and is the original nature or the state of being. From within that state, allow the clear radiance to arise unceasingly as the path. Whatever thoughts arise, do not dwell on the past, do not anticipate the future, and allow the present consciousness to flow naturally without artificial modification. Separate experience from mental fabrication, and maintain the state of self-aware awareness without being tainted by the attachment to view and meditation, thereby stabilizing the original state. Thoughts arise and dissolve, afflictions dissolve on their own, and appearances and mind arise as wisdom. In such a state, merely remind yourself with the awareness of suchness, cut off all other elaborations, and practice constantly in both meditative and post-meditative states. Third, there are three aspects to training in skill. First, blending the deity and the mind: Clearly visualize yourself and all appearances as an illusory deity, and affirm that this is the mind. Maintain the state of indivisibility between mind and deity, the inexpressible state of emptiness and clarity. Second, blending with the breath: By holding the gentle vase breath, the breath enters the central channel.
