Generate the five habits in the continuum. Obtain self-mastery over the five buddha-fields. Generate the definite understanding of obtaining the empowerment of the five bodies of Amitabha. Thus saying, hand the vajra to the right hand. Hūṃ! The supreme speech of all buddhas, the empowerment of the lotus. By the empowerment of Amitabha's vajra, may attachment be purified, becoming discriminating wisdom. May the empowerment be obtained, and Amitabha abide in the heart! Oṃ mahā vajra abhiṣiñca hrīḥ! Holding the bell. Relying on the empowerment of the action vajra, the accomplishment bell of all buddhas, may the five elements return to their own place. Generate the five equanimities in the continuum. Gain control over the five buddha-fields. Generate the definite understanding of obtaining the empowerment of the five bodies of Amoghasiddhi. Thus saying, hand the bell to the left hand. Hūṃ! The vast action empowerment of all buddhas. By the empowerment of the Amoghasiddhi bell, may jealousy be purified, becoming accomplishing wisdom. May the empowerment be obtained, and Amoghasiddhi abide in the heart! Oṃ mahā ghaṇṭe abhiṣiñca āḥ! The name empowerment is: Relying on the empowerment of the supreme body of all buddhas, the name of Vajra Vairocana, may the five imprints be purified. Generate the five wisdoms in the continuum. May the five buddha-fields ripen into essence. Generate the definite understanding of obtaining the empowerment of the five families of Vairocana. Thus saying, shake the vajra and bell together. Hūṃ! The supreme body of all buddhas, the Buddha. By the empowerment of the name of Vairocana, from today onwards, may you, son, be born as a son of the Buddha. May you hold the vajra name! Kye! The glorious Wrathful Vajra, will attain buddhahood. Thus proclaim. After granting the vow, place the vajra at the heart. Relying on the granting of the vow of Vajrasattva, the essence of the assembly of all buddhas, transform from ordinary thoughts and actions, generate faith in the inexhaustible wheel of adornment of the body, speech, mind, qualities, and activities of the victorious ones, engaging in the unobstructed benefit of sentient beings. Hūṃ! This is the Vajrasattva, the family assembly of all victorious ones. By the empowerment of the vajra, the emblem, to you, Vajrasattva enters your heart. Become one who holds the vajra vow! Oṃ vajra sattva tiṣṭha samaya hūṃ! Then, the deity empowerment is: Visualize yourselves as appearing as great glory.

From the sphere of the deities' compassion, the play of appearance and emptiness, the wisdom of the two shines forth, dissolving into their respective places, completing the dance of the wrathful form. The enjoyment body ripens into the essence of illusory light. May you generate devotion as the Dharma body manifests the vajra-like samadhi. Thus, the signs are combined. Holding the main deity's form, recite: Hūṃ! Homage to the Bhagavan, the Great Glorious Vajrakilaya, The Great Mother, the Wheel-Growing One, embraces the body, By the empowerment of the union of the Buddhas' activities, May it be accomplished as the body of the Great Glorious Vajra! Oṃ Vajra Kīli Kīlāya Abhiṣiñca Oṃ! (Tibetan: ཨཱོཾ་བཛྲ་ཀཱི་ལི་ཀཱི་ལ་ཡ་ཨ་བྷི་ཥིཉྩ་ཨོཾ, Sanskrit Devanagari: ओँ वज्र कीलि कीलाय अभिषिञ्च ओँ, Sanskrit Romanization: oṃ vajra kīli kīlāya abhiṣiñca oṃ, Literal Chinese meaning: Om, Vajra, Kilaya, Kilaya, Abhisheka, Om!) Thus, empower the crown of the head. Touching the ten places with the ten syllables of Hūṃ, recite: Hūṃ! You who subdue all the arrogance of the ten directions, The ten wrathful ones, fathers and mothers, and countless emanations, Clearly complete the parts of the Great Glorious Body, On the body, the deity's form is sealed with hand gestures. Hūṃ Hūṃ Hūṃ Hūṃ Hūṃ Hūṃ Hūṃ Hūṃ Hūṃ Hūṃ! Placing the seed syllables or hand gestures of the four gatekeepers on the four major joints, recite: Hūṃ! Possessing the four immeasurables, protecting the four gates, The four gatekeepers who perform the activities of attracting, binding, restraining, and intoxicating, On the body, the deity's form is sealed with hand gestures, May the four activities be accomplished without obstruction! Jaḥ Hūṃ Baṃ Ho! (Tibetan: ཛཿཧཱུྃ་བཾ་ཧོ, Sanskrit Devanagari: जः हुं बं हो, Sanskrit Romanization: jaḥ hūṃ baṃ ho, Literal Chinese meaning: Jaḥ, Hūṃ, Baṃ, Ho!) Then, perform the ritual of donning the eight charnel ground ornaments, recite: You are certain to be the nature of the ocean of the mandala of the Great Glorious Blood-Drinking One's play, as a sign of the greatness and majesty of a hero, generate the certainty of the three substances for anointing, the three garments for wearing, the three ornaments for adorning, and the blazing fire of the eon, etc., completing all aspects of glory. Hūṃ! The patterns of great ashes, blood, and fat, The raw skin amulet, the tiger skin loincloth, The garland of skulls, the serpent cords, the empowerment of the fire, May all aspects of glory be completely fulfilled! Hūṃ Hūṃ Hūṃ! Thus, having received the complete empowerment of the Mahayoga vase, from now on, all phenomena of appearance and emptiness are the nature of selflessness. Like the rainbow of Indra appearing in the expanse of space, or like the moon in water, appearing but without inherent existence. The rainbow body is transparent and unobstructed, becoming fortunate to have the power to master the meaning of no birth and no death. Thus, generate realization and pronounce auspiciousness. Secondly, the secret empowerment is to hold the skull cup filled with nectar, with the sound of the conch shell symbolizing the nature of great bliss and the realm of reality.
