Through the blessings of the Sugata Three Roots, the power of the samadhi, emanation, mantra, fierce substances, the truth of the Dharma nature, suchness, and the infallible cause and effect of phenomena, may all the negative karma, immediate circumstances, curses, and sorcery of others that oppress, burn, inflict, and torment us, along with our retinue of wealth and resources, all evil thoughts, harsh actions, great calamities, fears, bad omens, and evil signs, all sorcery and self-inflicted harm, be turned back! May they be gone! May they be pacified! Thus, clap your hands three times. Then, the empowerment of subjugation: If you wish to elaborate extensively, engage in fierce attire and perform the lower activities, from the witness of the all-pervading weapon wheel to the turning of the face. Although elaborating on the combination of the six special insertions and the connection of visualization appears to be a later tradition, if you wish to keep the elaboration moderate according to the practice of the great treasure revealer himself, gather the pit with the fish, the insertion stake, the waving banner, the substances for separating the deities, the subjugation knife, the dry offering cake, the hammer, and so on in front of the teacher. If there are Dharma companions, it is good to have them present with various musical instruments. The teacher says: "Now, in order to subdue the evil enemies and obstructors of the three realms, I will bestow the sequence of the fierce empowerment. Please listen and act as witnesses, create the object of visualization in the pit, summon the object of visualization, send messengers, separate the deities, and subjugate with the intention of life-taking. It is necessary to strike the offering cake, beat with the hammer, and offer to the mouth in sequence. Therefore, please clarify the visualization in accordance with the words." Thus, connect the practices. While scattering golden libation, say: Hūṃ! All the lineage gurus and deities of Vajrakīlaya, heed us here today! If we are to subjugate the enemy who destroys the Buddha's teachings and harms the bodies of qualified lamas, accept this golden libation offering and be our witnesses! If we are to destroy the sacred Dharma wheels and kill the Sangha, and harm all sentient beings by engaging in the five boundless acts of harm, if we are to subjugate the personal enemy of the vidyādhara yogi, accept this golden libation offering and be our witnesses!
