La! Without any modification, look with both eyes from the tip of the nose, Directly above about a fist's height, do not look distractedly. For that which does not stay, is hazy, dim, and obscure, Thoroughly investigate the details of how it appears. What is called "mind" is light, glittering, When chased, it cannot be caught, it is fleeting, dim, and obscure. When left, it does not stay, it is restless, flickering. It cannot be pointed out, it is empty, desolate. Where did this thing originally come from? The outer appearances, mountains, rocks, water, trees, etc., The sky, wind, etc., things with and without support, Did it come from those? Ask and thoroughly investigate. Or the inner self, between the upper and lower body, The senses, heart essence, limbs, etc., Where did it come from? During the observation, Where do the outer and inner realms and objects reside? The final destination, the doors of the body's senses, Where do they go from? And the distance of outer realms, The realm of mind, although it can reach all appearances, Did the body go, or did only the mind go? Did the collection of body and mind go, etc.? Thoroughly investigate. Likewise, color, shape, and function, etc., Are they established as real objects, or how do they appear as forms? Without real objects, empty like the sky, If similar, then all awareness, all action, all knowing, Established as real objects, indicated by real objects, Examine and analyze, having such characteristics. If these do not become understandable words, Search and analyze, this is the essence of meditation. Recognize the nature as it is, without any modification, And the emptiness of awareness that is free, in the inexpressible, inconceivable, Be sure to determine and thoroughly decide. Second, indicating the method of resting the mind: The body's key points are bound, the mind's key point is to cut off the three times' discursive thoughts, rest in this, first, Where does the mind reside in the body's upper and lower, inner and outer? During the observation, in the place of resting, When it does not stay and moves, the one who rests itself, Is it moving, or is there another who moves from it? Observe. Third, when it is thought that it has rested and moved away, Who knows the one who rests and the one who moves? Where did it go when it moved? Where does it rest when it returns? Are the two, resting and moving, one or not one? Observe. When not distracted, it rests; when distracted, it seems to move, If it is said that the essence is one, then it is determined. Having recognized the basis of your own awareness in this way, Third, introducing the nature of resting: To please the three roots and the dakinis, arrange a feast offering torma, The guru bestows the wisdom of the meaning of the four empowerments, After that, the disciple's body's key points are bound, On the fourth wisdom that arises during the empowerment, When resting without distraction, the guru recites

Emaho! The appearance of the experience of abiding in the ground through speech, abiding shimmering like an ocean, without distraction in equipoise with the sound of phaṭ (ཕཊ་, phaṭ, फट्, cut), that awareness like a superior view fish swimming, in the union of calm and insight, inseparable from awareness and emptiness, introducing with metaphors, symbols, and words, appearances emptiness, sound emptiness, bliss emptiness, awareness emptiness, etc., introducing self-arising, self-knowing, self-liberation. This is the introduction to trekchö kadak, few words, clear meaning, easy to understand, profound. I, like the madman Raöton, invited it from the second Taktsang in the year of the Water Rabbit ( ), and then on an auspicious day and date in the Monkey month of the Iron Dog year, copied it from the treasure scroll in Chimphu Gurkar Cave. From the Kunzang Nyingtik, the guiding sequence of the four spontaneous visions of Tögal. Homage to glorious Samantabhadra! The spontaneously accomplished Tögal appearance emptiness, to establish the four appearances, first, with the order of Kadak Trekchö, by taming the continuum with the path, perfecting familiarity, in the nature of being free from vast limitations and partiality, the uncompounded clear light of the Dharmakaya, training the ability to bring the path to completion, is the realm of the ground, the spontaneous youthful vase body eye, the five lights unmixed and clear, the five wisdoms, the five families self-manifest, all families gathered into one, the great secret Vajrasattva, the sole ornament, becoming the essence, the quintessence of Samantabhadra's intention, clear and unobstructed, uncreated, the three kayas, light, and awareness are primordially accomplished. Like a dull person's mirror, one's own face appears but one does not recognize one's own face, like a sharp person seeing the face in the mirror, one's own face, whether one recognizes it or not, by the cause and condition of the wind of wisdom moving, the radiance appears outward, well distinguished by the four conditions, the cause and condition, the nature of the ground of things, and the empowering condition, the wisdom of self-awareness itself, knowing as self-appearance by the objective condition, the immediately arising condition is the moment of realization and liberation, in the Sambhogakaya, the five families, the gathering of families, liberated in the spontaneously accomplished secret palace. The body realm is mistaken for the body by seeing other appearances, self-appearance, ignorance, is the cause and condition of that, from the realm, objects and awareness are mistaken for mind, thus, in the metaphor of cause and condition as the owner, confused by ignorance, the three body, speech, and mind, are liberated into the three kayas, light, and awareness, first, the one who abides,
