Clarity radiates and dissolves. Oṃ Jñāna Sattva Hūṃ. Oṃ Rulu Rulu Hūṃ Bhyo Hūṃ. Abhiṣiñca Ā. Introducing this, awareness is the essence of mind, from the heart of the glorious great body of bliss, the wisdom being Rulu with eight syllables. From the rays of wisdom shining forth, the outer world is emptied, and sentient beings are liberated, dissolving into the nature of knowing. The five lights dissolve into the syllables of the wisdom being's heart. The Hūṃ also gradually dissolves into the wisdom bindu. The bindu also empties like a breath on a mirror, and all phenomena are empty, clear, pure, without characteristics, without interruption, without birth or death, beyond expression, not formed into color or shape. The nature of reality is naturally luminous. In that uninterrupted flow of awareness and wisdom, the mother and child of reality meet, one's own ground is secured, and one's own face is seen. Characteristics increase, habitual tendencies are suppressed, characteristics are naturally liberated, and it is said to have reached the ground of wisdom. The secret empowerment is: Bless the butter lamp. Hūṃ. The secret heart of the great blissful father and mother is united, and from the unborn realm, wisdom blazes like fire. Transform the base of all, and the nine eyes bring forth wisdom. To dispel obscurations, may wisdom shine forth! Oṃ Vajra Adhipati Jñāna Abhiṣiñca Ā. Introducing this, the lamp is the space of my five sense consciousnesses in the vast expanse of Bhaga. The butter is my base of all, the mind of enlightenment, free from elaboration. The wick is the mental consciousness. The flame is the mirror-like wisdom that burns and purifies my habitual tendencies, dispelling the darkness of ignorance, and causing the power of self-awareness, the mind of enlightenment, to shine forth as mirror-like wisdom. One should settle into meditation. The ultimate empowerment is the guru's instructions. There are two aspects to this: identifying the mind and transforming it into the path. First, identifying the mind: From the Wheel of Wisdom, it says, "The mind should be strongly focused." Therefore, strongly focus on the painted image of the skull and grasp the mind. If the mind does not wander and remains still, then the mind is grasped. Therefore, transforming it into the path is: view, meditation, action, and result. The view is: introducing appearances as mind, increasing the habitual tendencies of mental events. Introducing mind as emptiness, because it has no color or shape, it abides in its own emptiness. Emptiness is inseparable.

Empowerment is bestowed, dwelling in the inseparability of appearance and emptiness. Not clinging even to the state of non-differentiation. Thus, it is also said in the Wheel of Wisdom: 'Since appearance and emptiness are inseparable, it is mind; mind has no inherent nature to grasp.' So it is said. Meditation is: Awareness is clear without an object; leaving the mind uncorrected, it is like a self-illuminating lamp not moved by the wind. Thus, it is also said in the Wheel of Wisdom: 'Like a lamp not moved by the wind, remain clear, non-conceptual, and undistracted.' So it is said. Conduct is: When the mind wanders, like clouds in the sky, whatever signs of conceptual thought arise, remain in self-arising and self-pacifying. Thus, it is also said in the Wheel of Wisdom: 'When the mind wanders, know it to be like clouds in the sky.' So it is said. The fruit is: The mind is free from its root, not established in any essence, which is the heart of the Great Glorious One, the Dharmakaya. The Wisdom Illusion Body, appearing without inherent nature, is the Sambhogakaya. To that, compassion is continuous, which is the Nirmanakaya. Thus, it is also said in the Wheel of Wisdom: 'Realizing its meaning is the Dharmakaya; the Form Body performs the benefit of beings.' So it is said. These are the root empowerments of the Wheel of Wisdom. The vase empowerment is the skull empowerment; by placing the skull of the Great Glorious One in the hand, the power of the deity is bestowed upon the body, introducing the body as the Great Glorious One, the Wisdom Illusion Body, appearing without inherent nature. The secret empowerment is the gathering of the eight grains of rulu; although sound arises from emptiness, the nature of reality is the sound of emptiness, introducing it as beyond expression and indication. The wisdom and knowledge empowerment is introduced as the lamp empowerment; the mind is non-conceptual and unobscured, and the lamp is used as an analogy, introducing it as mirror-like wisdom. The empowerment of suchness is the ultimate view and meditation empowerment; introducing the view as the inseparability of appearance and emptiness, introducing meditation as awareness without an object, introducing conduct as the self-liberation of conceptual thoughts, and introducing the fruit as the self-arising of the three kayas. The oral instruction for bestowing the four empowerments at once. Guru Padmasambhava, to Jomo Kharchenza Tso Gyal, Namkhai Nyingpo, and Sangye Yeshe, at the secret empowerment cave of Pal Khar Chu, transmitted the oral instructions at the place bound by the iron stake. Entrusted seal. Treasure.
