To tame beings of different capacities and considering the specific circumstances of different places and times, Lotus Born made many sadhana instructions, both large and small, of the powerful Red and Black Hayagriva. Most of these were hidden as various treasures for the purpose of taming the difficult-to-tame beings of the degenerate age in the future. This particular cycle of instructions, as stated in the text itself: Padma Wangchen Tantra (Sanskrit, Tibetan), its meaning is as profound and vast as the sky, it is the intention of Nagarjuna, this profound and concise instruction personally transmitted by myself, King Padma, is for the benefit of future beings who awaken their lineage, the letters of the increasing bindu, hold them as if grasping the pure and indestructible life force, when the time is right, transmit it to a worthy vessel through oral transmission, this is the essence of the essence that has never been shown to others before. As it is said, this Hayagriva tantra and agama sadhana, the generation and completion stage instructions are profound, concise, and essential, is the last of the thirteen incarnations of Gyalsé Lhaje Chokdrup Gyalpo, the treasure revealer, Padma Osal Do-ngak Lingpa, one of the seven great transmissions of the command treasure dharma gate, the profound oral transmission dharma cycle. At that time, while residing in the great palace of Rongshod Dewashe Kundü (bDe-gshegs 'dus-pa), the gathering of the Sugatas, in Dokham (mDo-khams), the five places of merit combined, in a pure and boundless manifestation, in front of the self-arisen stupa of Delightful Grove, the great charnel ground, the nine great vidyadharas descended and blessed, bestowing the essence of the tantra and sadhana sections, all appearing as the single form of Lotus Great Bliss Wisdom Body, the vidyadhara, and bestowed them separately. Here, blessed by the great scholar Nagarjuna, and personally instructed by the Lotus Empowerment Vidyadhara Guru Padma Gyalpo, and given as an oral transmission, in order to accomplish the profound empowerment of the heart drop of the glorious Hayagriva Play, first invite and offer a mandala. Visualize the master, the great powerful Hayagriva Play, appearing in reality, with intense devotion, join your palms and offer flowers, and repeat the following supplication: HO! Lotus radiant, delighting in joy, Guru, supreme empowerment Heruka, please bestow upon us fortunate disciples, the empowerment of supreme wisdom! Repeat three times.

Three, the mandala of the Great Powerful Horse Supreme Play, the self-appearing wisdom, the three roots, Buddhas, Dharma protectors, etc., are present throughout the sky. All sentient beings, including myself, from now until we attain enlightenment, with single-pointed great reverence, take refuge, and with a desire to recite the following. A! From the unborn wisdom! etc., recite three times as in the ritual. May all beings as vast as space, who have been our parents, be established in the supreme state of glorious Padma Great Power. For this purpose, enter the door of the profound ripening path of the great secret mandala, and diligently practice the yoga of the two stages, with such a mind generate this following recitation. Hūṃ! Those who have not realized Suchness Dhatu! etc., three times. In order to purify the continuum, in front of those supreme and sacred fields, accumulate the two accumulations, purify the sins and obscurations, and increase all the roots of virtue, by remembering the meaning and samadhi, recite this constant confession of eight branches. Ho! Vajra Master Buddha Glorious! etc., three times. In order to have the continuum endowed with vows, with the thought of firmly holding the three vows, recite the following. Oṃ! How are you, the Sugata? May I become exactly like that! The practice is wonderful and inconceivable! I will practice for the benefit of beings! The supreme and sacred Bodhicitta! This seal of body, speech, and mind! Even for the sake of life, I will not abandon it! May the Vajra King bestow blessings! In this degenerate world of the final age! I will accomplish the difficult deeds of the Buddha! I will practice the difficult practices of enlightenment! In this Vajra Yoga mandala! May our wishes be fulfilled! Three times. In order to establish the basis of empowerment and bestow the blessings of the wisdom deity, you should restrain your body, speech, and mind, and meditate single-pointedly on this visualization. Cleanse with the action mantra. Purify with Svabhava. From the state of emptiness, the vessel is a pure half-moon, in the center of the palace of the Great Powerful Play, on the seat of the lotus, sun, moon, and Naga demons, male and female intertwined, the essence is the pure nature of one's own awareness, the letter Hrīḥ red and blazing with light. From that complete transformation, you instantaneously become the Great Glorious Horse Supreme Play, a coquettish, brave, and terrifying body, red in color.
