Their companions are the eight classes of gods and demons, and their magical powers are very great. Their dwelling places are in the earth, water, stones, rocks, trees, and human settlements. Their lineage is similar to that of humans, with five types: royal, Brahmin, noble, commoner, and outcaste. They send five kinds of diseases. Because they live with humans, all actions, good or bad, are related to them. They are easy to quarrel with and difficult to reconcile, and many methods only provide temporary help and cannot completely solve the problem. The power of all the Sugatas is gathered together, and the eight classes of gods and demons are brought under control. This is called 'Subduing All Arrogance,' please keep it in mind. See the fire of the end of the kalpa blazing. It cannot be compared to any of the eight classes. Its power is inconceivable. What need is there to mention nāgas and earth lords? It eliminates the sins of oneself and others, as well as homa, zor, offering fire, suppression, and subduing, cutting, madness, and possession.
