Four, employing as servants. Five, subduing the four kinds of nagas and malignant spirits. Six, vanquishing the vicious enemies and obstructors. Seven, destroying the army of obstructing forces. Eight, offering balim torma. Among these, the first is: Among the four recollections, the place recollection is: First, no matter where one is in an instant, it is the palace of wisdom. Without outer and inner, without edge and center, meditate clearly on the palace spontaneously present in the realm of wisdom. The deity recollection is: On the crown of one's ordinary self, let a single (Tibetan: རཾ, Sanskrit Devanagari: रं, Sanskrit Romanization: raṃ, Chinese literal meaning: ram) dissolve into light, from which the fire of wisdom blazes, pervading the body from head to toe. Imagine burning away the body of karma, afflictions, and maturation, transforming into a great fire of wisdom. In this state, rest the mind itself in the dharmakaya of great bliss, free from elaboration. This is called the deity of the powerful view. The mantra recollection is: As above, visualize clearly, and by reciting the mantra, the mandala of the mantra deities becomes clear. Without being distracted by the sound of the mantra, focus on the mantra and recite it. Imagine that the deities of the Eight Great Commands of Accomplishment regard me with their true wisdom. This is called the deity of the heart essence mantra. The guru recollection is: Consider the root guru, whoever he may be, thinking that he has bestowed such kindness, and meditate on him on your own crown. This is called the deity who removes obstacles. To recite for the purpose of purifying the obscurations of yoga is: Imagine a (Tibetan: རཾ, Sanskrit Devanagari: रं, Sanskrit Romanization: raṃ, Chinese literal meaning: ram) at your navel. From the (Tibetan: རཾ, Sanskrit Devanagari: रं, Sanskrit Romanization: raṃ, Chinese literal meaning: ram) a fire blazes, a great fire of wisdom blazes, pervading the body from head to toe. Burning away the ten non-virtues of the body and all the obscurations of the mind, the fire of wisdom pervades the outer container world. Burning away all tangible things such as earth, stones, trees, forests, mountains, and rocks. Pervading all sentient beings within. The body, speech, and mind of sentient beings are burned by the fire of wisdom. Everything rests in the dharmakaya of great bliss, free from elaboration. To recite for the purpose of urging on the activities of the Dharma protectors is: With the sound of the wrathful mantra, the eight classes of gods and demons and the oath-bound ones come from the realm of emptiness like dry wood moved by the wind. Urging on the life force and the stream of their vows, the flesh and blood of the Rudras who curse and harm the Dharma pile up like mountains.

After destroying it, carrying the uninterrupted citta (藏文,梵文天城体, citta, mind) which is the basis of the alaya-vijnana, and showing it to the Sugatas, one can transform the enemy into a son of the Buddhas and recite. To recite for the purpose of employing the eight classes of beings as servants is to subdue the eight classes of gods, nagas, and demons. By reciting the sound of the fierce mantra like thunder, the phenomenal world's eight classes of gods and demons tremble like a collapsing snow mountain, or like a cut-off thicket, or like a naked child struck by a cold wind, their eyes staring blankly, saying, "Great hero, what is your command?" Thinking that they will listen to any command and reciting, then the arrogant eight classes of gods and demons will be subdued and will listen to orders. To recite for the purpose of subduing the four types of nagas, with the sound of the fierce mantra, all the harmful naga demons, including the four types of nagas, are burned to ashes by the swift light rays of the mantra like lightning, with fierce power like thunderbolts, burning all the nagas' bodies and harmful minds. Thinking that all the naga demons cannot harm even for kalpas, recite. To kill the vicious enemies and obstructors, with the sound of the mantra, the corporeal enemies, the incorporeal obstructors, the misleading spirits, and the oath-bound demons are each burned to ashes without any autonomy. Thinking that even the name of harm does not exist, recite. To destroy the army of obstructing demons, practicing this fierce mantra of the assembled Sugatas is a fierce mantra that assembles all the deities of the Eight Commands of Kagyü. With the sharp force of the fierce mantra, it is like gathering many swords and tempering them with sesame oil. Reciting the fierce mantra a hundred times is sufficient. To offer the balimta torma, prepare any available bhandha or container, and any available torma offerings. Visualize Om Ah Hum (藏文,梵文天城体, oṃ āḥ hūṃ, body, speech, and mind) on the torma, and reciting Om Ah Hum (藏文,梵文天城体, oṃ āḥ hūṃ, body, speech, and mind) twenty-one times, visualize the objects in the container, the bhandha container as the world of vessels, and the torma offerings as the world of essence like nectar and milk, filled to the brim. Reciting "Vajra Samaya Hum Jah Hum (藏文,梵文天城体, vajra samaya hūṃ jaḥ hūṃ, Vajra commitment Hum Jah Hum)", invite all the peaceful deities to the left in front. Reciting "Yoga Samaja (藏文,梵文天城体, yoga samādhi jaḥ, Yoga Samadhi Jah)", invite all the wrathful deities to the right. Reciting "Yoga Samaja (藏文,梵文天城体, yoga samādhi jaḥ, Yoga Samadhi Jah)", visualize the Vajra Master, the Vidyadhara men and women, and the Dakini Dharma Protectors men and women gathering like clouds in the sky in front.
