In addition to that, adding the four heavy weights of decline, slander, and denigration, a total of twelve, it also becomes sixteen karmas. The eight inversions are: Slandering and praising the black and white sides, disturbing the minds of those with virtue, breaking up the assemblies of those with faith, abandoning the guru, deity, and Dharma friends, destroying the sacred mandala, and so on, are eight. These are called the eight inversions. Like that, even the extremely small non-virtuous deeds should be abandoned like poison, because their power of transformation is very strong, even small non-virtuous deeds will produce great suffering. As it is said in the sutra: Even doing small sins will lead to great fear and great destruction in the next life, just like poison entering the body. The great scholar said: Although the karma is small, the fruit is great, what need is there to mention accumulating great good and evil? Second, regarding the boundaries: In general, the three-door actions that are aroused by the three poisons and harm others with their basis are non-virtuous deeds. The three-door actions that are aroused by the mind without the three poisons and benefit others with their fruit are virtuous deeds. In particular, all the virtues that are grasped by the wisdom of realizing no self-nature are uncontaminated virtues, which are the conditions for liberation; those that are not grasped by it are contaminated virtues, which are the conditions for merit. Third, regarding the weight: Due to the differences in the intensity of the object and motivation, etc., non-virtuous deeds have three types: light, medium, and heavy, and virtuous deeds also have three types: great, medium, and small. Fourth, regarding the fruit: Contaminated heavy non-virtuous deeds lead to hell, medium ones lead to hungry ghosts, and light ones lead to animals, which are the fruits of complete maturation. Being fond of killing, etc., whatever non-virtuous deeds are done, one will be born there, which is the fruit of acting in accordance with the cause. Because of killing, having a short life and many diseases, etc., is the fruit of experiencing in accordance with the cause. The dominating fruit ripens in the place, that is, being born in an inauspicious place with many thorns and unripe grains. Contaminated great virtuous deeds lead to the gods of the higher realms, medium ones lead to the gods of the desire realm, and small ones lead to being born as humans, which are the fruits of complete maturation. The fruits of acting in accordance with the cause and the dominating fruit, etc., should also be understood in the opposite way from before.

The fruit of virtue without is that which bestows all the bliss of the path and fruit of liberation and nirvana. That is, if one has a virtuous mind in all three, the preliminary, the main part, and the subsequent, then it is definitely only a virtuous action, so the ripening also only bestows happiness. Otherwise, giving alms in order to desire fame, etc., the mind is dark and the action is white, and beating and speaking unpleasant words with the intention of benefiting, etc., the mind is white and the action is dark. It is said that these also generate alternating happiness and suffering. Therefore, one should practice only performing purely white deeds, like a householder farming without fatigue, and being brave and not afraid of great virtues, like a warrior entering the battlefield, and like turning a waterwheel without interruption. Fourth, the instruction on contemplating the faults of samsara: The Key Instructions say: 'Impose the suffering of samsara on your own mind.' Therefore, think like this: Even if you are born in the three lower realms due to non-virtuous actions, what is there to fear? Such a reckless mind is because you have not thought about it now. If you think about it, what need is there to say about experiencing suffering? Even if you hear of suffering, or see an image drawn in a picture, there is no way to endure it to the point of heart palpitations. The reason for this is that if you are born in hell, the difference in suffering in the hot hells is that even in places like the ground of burning iron, and pits of fire and blazing flames, the sentient beings who are revived see each other as enemies, and strike each other with weapons, dying and reviving again and again. In the Black Line Hell, lines are drawn on the body, and the brain is scattered with a burning iron saw, splitting and sticking, sticking and splitting again. In the Crushing Hell, in the middle of a burning iron cliff that looks like a sheep's head, it is squeezed and separated like red sesame oil, and when it revives, it is squeezed again. In the Crying Hell, when you are exhausted and looking for a place to hide, you enter a burning iron room, and the door is closed and you are burned. In the Great Crying Hell, you are burned in a two-story burning iron room without a door, and even if you escape from the inner door a hundred times, you cannot escape from the outer door for a long time. The Hot Hell is burned in a burning iron mortar, pierced with a three-pronged spear, and the skin is peeled off on the burning mud ground.
