In between the cushions, abiding in the state of pacifying the afflictions arising from the mind, after accomplishing through stages or sudden transcendence, etc., the body and mind are filled with extremely tamed bliss. In that state, the mind is grasped without wavering, it can be used at will, and one can abide in it for as long as desired. Once the mind is grasped, the prana is naturally grasped, and warmth, bliss, and non-conceptual samadhi effortlessly arise. Clairvoyance and premonitions, etc., will also be accomplished. Secondly, looking at the face of the mind itself: For people of superior faculties, relying solely on devotion to the guru yoga, through the power of the transference of blessings, the heart and mind merge into one, the uproar of devotion rises, awareness enters the central channel, the clarity and turbidity of the mind are separated, not bound by the elaborations of the three times, not stained by the apprehended, and the present awareness, uncorrupted by the apprehending, is understood in an instant, transcending thought and free from conceptualization. The view of the Great Perfection, the nature of which all phenomena of samsara and nirvana do not go beyond the expanse of suchness, will be manifested. If it is not manifested in this way for people of intermediate faculties, then diligently accumulate merit and purify obscurations. In particular, connect with the guru with intense devotion and longing, and appearance is mind, mind is emptiness, emptiness is awareness, and awareness is recognized as beyond thought and free from elaboration. The first is: all appearances that arise in the objects of the six senses are known to be like dreams and illusions, appearing even though they do not exist, due to the power of the habitual imprints left on the mind. The second is: if that mind is well examined, it does not abide in the aggregates, nor is it one or many, it has no form or color, and it is recognized nakedly as the great emptiness that transcends all phenomena of grasping and being grasped. The third is: that emptiness is not completely non-existent like the emptiness of an inanimate object, but is experienced as the nature of self-awareness of each individual. The fourth is: such an experience is like the pleasure of a maiden, although there is experience, it cannot be spoken, there is no attachment to bliss, it is clear and non-conceptual, and one realizes the self-aware, luminous, Great Perfection view that transcends all objects of thought such as empty and non-empty, thereby gaining confidence. For people of inferior faculties, if it is not manifested in this way because the conceptual thoughts of habitual imprints are coarse, then one should search with the definitive understanding of the two selflessnesses, namely:

Furthermore, clinging to the aggregates as "I" and "mine" is the self of a person. If that were truly established, it would have to be established as either one with or different from the aggregates. If it were established as one, then just as the aggregates arise and cease, so too would the self. If it were established as different, then there would have to be a substance other than the aggregates, but since that is not seen. Moreover, it cannot be permanent, because it arises and ceases in an instant. It cannot be one, because the aggregates, which are the basis of designation, appear as many. It cannot be independent, because the aggregates, etc., abandon and destroy the self without any control over it. Therefore, one should gain certainty that the five aggregates are like an illusion, merely assembled, and that it is only by focusing on them that ignorance manifests and clings, thus there is the imputation of "I" and "mine," but in reality, there is no inherent existence. Dharma refers to all things such as aggregates, elements, and sources. To cling to them as truly existent is the self of phenomena. The way in which that very thing is not seen to be truly established is: all coarse forms that appear as material objects gradually dissolve into atoms. And even that dissolves into indivisible particles, thus it is determined that there is not even a trace of inherent existence. Knowledge, the mind and mental factors that are not form, the past has ceased, the future has not arisen, and the present moment has no color or shape, it is not seen anywhere inside or outside the body, it does not abide in any of the senses or objects, like the reflection of the moon in water, from the very moment it appears to arise, abide, and cease, one should know that it is emptiness by nature, merely an image of dependent origination. By repeatedly familiarizing oneself in this way, and relying on the blessings of the guru, the source of self-grasping is emptied, not deceived by the object of grasping, not bound by the mind that grasps, the dharmakaya, the reality of the mind of Kunjed Gyalpo ((藏文:ཀུན་བྱེད་རྒྱལ་པོ།,梵文天城体:,梵文罗马拟音:,汉语字面意思:普贤王如来)), which is primordially pure by nature, will directly realize the intention beyond mind. Third, to settle into the undifferentiated natural state is: the best, as soon as they are caught by mindfulness, settle into spontaneously accomplished meditation, and the essence of awareness merges without differentiation, the clusters of thoughts are neither helpful nor harmful, and they remain evenly in the naturally liberated state. The middling ones abide for a longer time.
