People born in the year of the sheep and monkey are interested in Dharma and politics. When they meet someone named Ocean, this wisdom secret drop of co-accomplishment, the small practice manual containing the outer and inner secret empowerments, please enjoy it dearly, Atam Gya! When the auspicious wishes of these two are fulfilled, a great person holding the secret mantra teachings will appear, liberating beings with impermanent and arbitrary actions, and the true meaning of Vajra Essence will rapidly flourish. If the auspicious connection is disrupted, both parents will be controlled by demons and suffer from weapons and food poisoning, and their lives will be interrupted. Therefore, practice in a secluded place, do not prioritize others, and thoroughly complete your own practice. Padmasambhava, I also, through the power of previous prayers, lit the lamp of Dharma in central Tibet. Although I propagated the teachings of the fruition of secret mantras, there is no Dharma that can counter the self-liberation of afflictions. Only the prince and parents can transmit this teaching. The prince should seek the secret path of great bliss, and the long-life dakini should cut through the net of doubt. Drive a stake into your heart and practice secretly. The power of dakinis, constellations, and supreme bindus, must be protected to prevent untimely treasure thieves, fatal blows, evil words, and ominous omens from befalling you. Samaya! This has three parts: preliminary practice, main practice, and subsequent practice. The first is: the place is agreeable, the outer and inner resources are complete, there is no sudden harm of fright, find a consort with good lineage and auspicious signs, and seal the outer and inner boundaries tightly. Sit on a comfortable seat, offer torma to the obstructors, misleaders, and harmers, and command them. Offer torma to the guardians of the directions and the local deities, and entrust them with the task of not making noise and not causing obstacles.
