Stabilize! Burn incense. With music, perform the six descents, or recite the invocation from the ritual manual. At the end of the heart mantra, strongly pronounce "Jñana Aveshaya A Ah" (藏文，梵文天城体ज्ञाना वेशय आ आः，梵文罗马拟音jñana āveśaya ā āḥ，wisdom, enter, a, a), and then descend. Place the vajra on the crown of the head and scatter flowers. Stabilize with "Tishta Vajra" (藏文，梵文天城体，梵文罗马拟音，汉语字面意思：Stay Vajra). With the intention of offering the previously given flowers to whichever remaining deity is related to the activity, request to recite and throw this. "Ho! Offering the flower of awareness to the deity! May the nature of the deity of awareness and emptiness, previously related, descend here! Pratīccha Ho!" (藏文，梵文天城体，梵文罗马拟音，汉语字面意思：Receive, Ho) Throw it into the mandala. Visualize removing the veils of ignorance and delusion along with the blindfold. Hum! Your eyes of ignorance and samsara will be opened into eyes of wisdom. Likewise, may all afflictions and samsara be opened into eyes of wisdom! Remove the blindfold. After those have completed the entering dharmas according to the common secret tradition, as it says in the text itself: "The essence of life is in emptiness, the nature of life is clear meditation and recitation, the compassion of life accomplishes activities, thus the samadhi is not distracted, the empowerment of life accomplishes siddhis, life and wisdom are extremely clear, the mandala of life empowerment is also seen, the empowerment of no birth and death is perfected." As it is said, at the beginning of the empowerment, in connection with meditation and recitation, in order to accomplish the activity of summoning life, meditate in this way: Purify the thoughts of grasping at self and other in the state of primordial purity. From that state, from the essence of your own awareness, the red Hrih (藏文，梵文天城体，梵文罗马拟音hrīḥ，汉语字面意思：Hrih), visualize the master himself as appearing as Amitabha, reddish-white, one face, two arms, with the complete enjoyment body attire, the right hand holding a vase of life, and the left hand holding a burning jewel, seated in the lotus and sun seat in the lotus position. You yourselves also instantly transform from the essence of awareness, Hrih (藏文，梵文天城体，梵文罗马拟音hrīḥ，汉语字面意思：Hrih), into Amitayus, the color of the body is yellow, radiating light, green from the navel down, with the sambhogakaya attire, the two hands in meditative equipoise, holding a vase of life adorned with jewels, seated in the lotus, sun, and moon seat in the lotus position, and gain clarity. Between the master and yourselves, nine white A (藏文，梵文天城体，梵文罗马拟音a，汉语字面意思：A) letters rotate like a string of torches, from which radiate countless rays of red A (藏文，梵文天城体，梵文罗马拟音a，汉语字面意思：A) letters. Absorbing into you, the inside of the body is filled with the essence of the nectar of wisdom of the A (藏文，梵文天城体，梵文罗马拟音a，汉语字面意思：A) letter.

Eh Sha! Obtain the empowerment of immortal life and attain accomplishments. From the "Ah" within the body, nine red "Ah" (Tibetan: ཨ, Sanskrit Devanagari: अ, Sanskrit Romanization: a, Literal Chinese meaning: Ah) syllables radiate outwards to the eight directions and the center front, transforming into individual Amitayus Buddhas identical to oneself, residing there. From all of them, red light radiates, filling the ten directions of space. All the essence and quintessence of worldly and transcendental realms, all the accomplishments of immortal life, gather in the form of light and syllables, merging into oneself and the substances being practiced upon. Meditate in this way and recite the dharani mantra together. Fix your attention in this way, and recite the heart mantra as much as possible, like completing a ritual. Again, light radiates from the heart of the master, stimulating the samaya of all the deities of the mandala. From them emanate messengers like particles of sunlight. All of your weakened and wandering life force, life, and breath, that which has risen and been lost, that which has fled and scattered, and all that has been stolen and plundered by the eight classes of spirits, as well as the essence of samsara and nirvana, the blessings and power of the Three Roots, all gather in the form of the three syllables Ah (Tibetan: ཨ, Sanskrit Devanagari: अ, Sanskrit Romanization: a, Literal Chinese meaning: Ah), Na (Tibetan: ནྲྀ, Sanskrit Devanagari: न, Sanskrit Romanization: na, Literal Chinese meaning: Na), Hum (Tibetan: ཧཱུྃ, Sanskrit Devanagari: हूँ, Sanskrit Romanization: hūṃ, Literal Chinese meaning: Hum) and rainbows of light, gently merging into yourselves and the life substances in front of you, restoring the weakened life force. Visualize obtaining immortal life and a vajra-like life. If there is time and opportunity, recite praises and all the sections of life-invoking prayers. If time is limited, recite only the peaceful and wrathful ones, and the invocation of the life-force deities. Then, offer a mandala as the fee for requesting the actual empowerment. Repeat after this prayer: Kye! Bhagavan Protector Amitayus! Immeasurable Light, the body of the Protector! Please listen to me and remember me! We, impoverished sentient beings! In order to be saved from obstacles and demonic influences! And to conquer the enemy, the Lord of Death! Please grant us the empowerment of long life! I am a worthy vessel and possess vows! I possess karma and fortune! Request three times. The lama gives the answer: Kye Ho! You are pleasing in your vows! In the mandala of Vajra Life! In order to remove the obstacles of the children! And to liberate from the afflictive demons! Look upon this powerful mandala! Three times. Having granted permission in this way, you proceed clockwise from the east of the great mandala, prostrating at each gate and touching the ground, thereby seeing the face of the deity.
