With a mind of holding, repeat after this: Sugatas and their retinues, please heed me! We, the vidyadharas, until the essence of enlightenment is reached, the vows of individual liberation, the trainings of bodhisattvas, and the samayas of vidyadhara mantras, shall uphold them perfectly. Repeat three times. Then proclaim the samaya: Place the vajra on the head. Hūṃ! (藏文，梵文天城体，梵文罗马拟音，汉语字面意思) This is the samaya vajra, bestowed upon you, my child. If you can keep it, you will gain a hundred million qualities. If you cannot, you will fall into the vajra hell. Samaya idam te narakan. Bestow the samaya water nectar: Hūṃ! (藏文，梵文天城体，梵文罗马拟音，汉语字面意思) This samaya wrathful boiling water, I entrust to you, protect it well. If you cannot keep it, it is the cause of hell. If you can keep it, you will gain a hundred million qualities. Therefore, you should respectfully partake of it. Samaya vajra amrita hūṃ! (藏文，梵文天城体，梵文罗马拟音，汉语字面意思) Place the image at the heart. Show the mirror: Heruka, glorious one, now I will truly place your heart. If you speak of this manner, then you will immediately be severed and depart. Samaya vajra citta hūṃ! (藏文，梵文天城体，梵文罗马拟音，汉语字面意思) Thus speak. Then establish the basis for empowerment and invoke the wisdom being. All of you should restrain the key points of the three doors and not stray elsewhere. Meditate in this way. Recite Oṃ mahā śūnyatā, etc. Purify all the impure thoughts of appearance and mind into the realm of clear light. From within emptiness, on a lotus and moon seat, the essence of your own consciousness, the yellow seed syllable hrīḥ, emits yellow rays. Offer to the noble ones. Accomplish the benefit of sentient beings, gather back and dissolve, and you all transform into the Bhagavan Protector Amitayus, the color of his body like refined gold, green from the navel down. His two hands hold a vase of life adorned with a blazing jewel in the gesture of equipoise, and he sits in the vajra posture. Adorned with silk and precious jewels, his form blazes with the splendor of marks and signs. At his crown is a white oṃ, at his throat a red āḥ, and at his heart a blue hūṃ. From these, rays of light emanate, and from the western Sukhavati and other boundless realms of the ten directions, the Bhagavan Amitayus and all the buddhas and bodhisattvas and their retinues, all the gurus, yidams, dakinis, and dharma protectors, descend like a rain in the form of Protector Amitayus, and dissolve into the three doors.
