Namo Guru Ayu Devaya. Sentient beings' lives are depleted, and all beings are depleted with you. Therefore, always grant the supreme life empowerment. I prostrate to the feet that destroy the armies of the Lord of Death. Here, I will clarify the combined meaning of the empowerment of mother and child. There are two aspects to this: generally speaking about the meaning of the text, and specifically explaining the necessary meaning. The first is that this life empowerment is combined as a part of the four empowerments of the Great Perfection view, the vast expanse, as the ultimate support for all the life empowerment texts. According to the direct instruction of the text, the mandala and empowerment substances are arranged, and the master and disciples together perform the refuge, bodhicitta, obstacle removal, and protection circle from the life accomplishment practice manual. Then, the life empowerment, inner clarity, self-generation, meditation, and recitation are performed. Again, as in the life accomplishment, the front support mandala is meditated upon. Inviting, seating, prostrating, and offering. From the front generation, the recitation of radiating and withdrawing light rays, praise, life-attracting, and feast offering are completed. Then, the life empowerment is requested and granted. The mandala is shown. The empowerment is bestowed from the sword to the general empowerment. Finally, the eight auspicious symbols are combined. The leftovers are given away, and the completion is achieved through the stages of withdrawal. The second is that when this is to be extracted individually, there are three stages to taking it into practice in accordance with the general secret procedures: preparation, main practice, and subsequent stages. The first preparation is the arrangement of materials: in the center of the mandala without a charnel ground on the platform, complete with doors, etc., similar to the general arrangement. In the center of the three-layered enclosure, in the center of the main deity's square palace, write Oṃ (藏文：ཨོཾ，梵文天城体：ओम्，梵文罗马拟音：oṃ，汉语字面意思：嗡). The first enclosure is a vajra fence.
