Then, from the state of emptiness, visualize your own awareness as a black ཕེ་ (PHA) syllable residing in the center of your heart. Then, in the state of visualizing yourself as the Naga-demon Rakshasa, with an extremely large and coarse body, recite this four-syllable mantra: ཨོཾ་ཕེ་ལཾ་ཧཱུྃ༔ (Tibetan, Devanagari, Romanized Sanskrit, Literal Chinese meaning). The number is to recite three hundred thousand times. The signs are, as stated in the tantra: "Skin peels off, blisters appear, the body is covered with secret seals, this is the eternal vow of the three times, in this life and the next, the harm of Nagas will not occur." If it is severe, the tiny disease-causing demons will die inside, and their corpses will turn into diseases, the mantra cannot expel them, so ask a skilled doctor to perform a purgative treatment. The sign of the mantra expelling them is that scorpions, snakes, etc. will actually come out from the nine orifices of the body.
