Za o. Then, the aspiration is: Through the power of the merits accumulated in this way, may all Sugatas and their retinues, especially Manjushri Peaceful and Wrathful, hold me in all lifetimes. Thus saying, and reciting "Manjushri Hero" etc. as desired, and uttering auspicious words, perform the ritual activities. Up to this point, I have explained the contents suitable as supplements to the recitation text. Next, I will briefly explain what is needed to approach the realization of the ritual. In general, regarding the realization of the practice of the Lord of Life, the scriptures speak of many different methods, such as the outer iron hook, the inner thunderbolt hook, and the secret sky-iron fire hook. Here, according to the meaning of the Great Sky-Thunderbolt, based on the root method of the oral instructions of Guru Padmasambhava, it is the generation stage of instantaneous enlightenment. The order of the compiled ritual text has also been composed by many wise and accomplished masters of both the old and new traditions, and whichever one is practiced, it is meaningful. However, this Northern tradition is the most profound because its words are ancient and unadulterated, and the transmission of its meaning and blessings is particularly excellent. At the beginning of visualizing the deity here, recite: (Tibetan, Devanagari, Romanized Sanskrit, Literal Chinese meaning) And so on, the meaning is: The letter ཨེ་ (Tibetan, Devanagari, Romanized Sanskrit, Literal Chinese meaning) itself is the shape of a triangular Dharmadhatu source, and the letter ཨ་ (Tibetan, Devanagari, Romanized Sanskrit, Literal Chinese meaning) is the sound of the unborn sound rising as ཨར་ (Tibetan, Devanagari, Romanized Sanskrit, Literal Chinese meaning), that is, from both the shape and the sound, it symbolizes the reality of all dharmas, and it is also the seed of the total life of all samsara and nirvana. It is also a fierce letter. Reciting it three times comes from the "Essence Meaning Protection": ཨྱེ་ཨྱེ་ཨྱེ་ (Tibetan, Devanagari, Romanized Sanskrit, Literal Chinese meaning) says the three lineages. In the vast and pervasive Dharmakaya: ཨྱེ་ (Tibetan, Devanagari, Romanized Sanskrit, Literal Chinese meaning) two is the complete Sambhogakaya, without obstruction in all appearances, from the nature of great bliss, ཨེ་ (Tibetan, Devanagari, Romanized Sanskrit, Literal Chinese meaning) three is the miraculous transformation of the Nirmanakaya. As it is said, thus, from the ground, it symbolizes the spontaneous accomplishment of emptiness, appearance, and union, from the path, it symbolizes the three samadhis, and from the fruit, it symbolizes the three bodies, etc. Therefore, ཨེ་ (Tibetan, Devanagari, Romanized Sanskrit, Literal Chinese meaning) itself is the meaning of reality, that is, the Dharmadhatu that is empty of all extremes such as existence and non-existence, and it is the source of all phenomena of existence and non-existence. What is its nature? Its nature abides naturally in a state of indivisibility between emptiness, which is originally unborn, and luminosity, which is unceasing, that is, the great bliss Bodhicitta that is originally pure.

It is called the mandala of the single bindu. When one realizes that all conditioned and unconditioned dharmas are completely contained within it, one does not need to contemplate the deity based on causes and conditions, as in Maha Yoga and below, nor does one need to rely solely on reciting mantras, as in Anu Yoga. Instead, one clarifies the support and the supported in the manner of the spontaneous manifestation of the great play of the Sambhogakaya. In this way, by ascertaining the meaning of the single letter "E," one thoroughly understands all dharmas and gains the confidence to seize control of samsara and nirvana. This also reveals the fortress of view, that all appearances of samsara and nirvana are the nature of self-awareness, the self-arisen wisdom, pure from the very beginning. Transcending change and without limitation, the three kayas are indivisible and spontaneously perfected in a single state. When this is decisively understood through the guru's instructions, one directly sees the face of the definitive Yamantaka. As it is said in the Tantra of the Core of Evil Deeds: "The illusory body of wisdom, indivisible from appearance and emptiness, the wisdom that transcends the limits of permanence and annihilation, is the primordial vajra body itself, abiding in the overwhelming power of the great mudra." Thus, if one realizes the meaning that it has always been this way from the beginning, one gains control over the forms of appearance as one wishes, because they will manifest as its play. Generation stage practices that are seized by such a profound view also become the profound generation stage of spontaneous presence and emptiness, merging into one taste with the completion stage. Therefore, in this state seized by the spontaneously accomplished mudra, clarifying the support and the supported, in the center of the four elements, Mount Meru, various lotuses, sun and moon, and crossed vajras, is a wrathful palace equal to space, without outer or inner, everything being contained within. Four sides, four doors, eight horse heads, above the walls of skulls and jewels, are cornices in the shape of skulls, a net of skull garlands strung with snakes. Hanging entrails, a gall bladder in the heart, a shroud of corpses, stupas of large bones, parasols adorned with human heads, offering goddesses dancing along the walls, pillars of inner provinces, beams of the eight classes of gods, sun and moon pillar tops, beams of the eight nagas, curtains of stars, pillar ornaments of banners, turtle pillar bases, and the top is painted with the five elixirs.
