Driving them in four directions. The life of the arrogant Mu and Tsen, due to jealousy, is like a copper tigress the size of a bird, searching in a copper ga'u box, locked with a willow latch, residing on rocks and snow mountains. The life of medicine and Ma Sang is like a flat piece of silver sand, placed in a white silk bag, residing on the side of a grassy slope. The teacher Manjushri Friend (འཇམ་དཔལ་བཤེས་གཉེན།) saw that the life-force of the eight classes of gods and demons resided in this way, and extracted from the "Great Compendium of Manjushri's Heavenly Dharma," he wrote down the actual methods of opening the life-gate latch, and the oral instructions for distinguishing between the lives and souls of the deceased and the non-deceased, for the benefit of future generations. The life as described above is the way in which the general life of each of the eight classes resides, and the respective life-syllables are as described in the scriptures. Thus, the life of the deceased, the life of the five families or all the body families, is gathered in Manjushri Yamantaka (འཇམ་དཔལ་ཡ་མཱནྟ་ཀ།) and other great accomplishments, gathered in the Eight Great Herukas of Kagyü. Taking them, one obtains all blessings and accomplishments, with two stages: generation stage and completion stage. First, through the gate of the four nails of the life-lock, the mind-life of the deity is seized, so that the deity and oneself are inseparable. In the completion stage, the wisdom of the four vajras is generated, and with the profound yoga of with-signs and without-signs, one obtains freedom over the original vajra life. For the fierce gods and demons who have not escaped the world, they are controlled and driven by the oral instructions of seizing life. The life of enemies and obstacles is seized by the ritual of fierce mantras, and used as nourishment for one's own life. As stated in the Dzongtrang, there are four ways to seize life: seize one's own life and throw it on the ground where there is no remaining corpse; seize the life of the wisdom deity and throw it on the ground of mind liberation and Buddhahood; seize the life of the oath-bound protector and make the worldly non-human visible; seize the life of the oath-breaking enemy ghost and slay the inner obstacles and demons that harm the outer Dharma. Therefore, protect one's own life to attract longevity, save the life of one's son to summon the soul, and cut off the life of the enemy to separate it from life. Therefore, if one declines, one's life declines; if one wanders, one's soul wanders; if one is cut off, one's life is cut off; I.

Invoking the protection of the deity, longevity, and life. It is crucial to understand the benefits and drawbacks of seizing the enemy's soul, shortening life, and ending life. Among them, the soul resides in the body; it manifests in the form of dzo, yaks, sheep, goats, etc.; wandering, it wanders aimlessly without a fixed direction; accompanying, it accompanies the co-emergent deity; longevity, in the center of the heart, like a grass root, in the center of the five essences, resides in the shape of a green Nṛ(藏文:ནྲྀ;梵文天城体:नृ;梵文罗马拟音:nṛ;汉语字面意思:讷利), relying on the consciousness that can remember, and accompanied by breath, various memories arise. At the time of death, this Nṛ(藏文:ནྲྀ;梵文天城体:नृ;梵文罗马拟音:nṛ;汉语字面意思:讷利)character, accompanied by wind, escapes outward and disappears. Because the mind has no support, it wanders in the bardo state. There are four types of life: the life of arising blood, which is the formation of the body, and the mind relies on it, all sentient beings appearing in form are like that. Because it can be killed and cut off, it appears as death. The life of abiding meaning is the life of the Sugatas, that is, the life of the abiding mode of the meaning of Dharma nature, thereby attaining the state of Nirvana. The life of deluded mind is the life of non-humans. Because the mind relies on the body, although it cannot be actually killed or beaten, by controlling the mind with medicine, mantras, and samadhi, it loses its autonomy, and thus its life can be controlled. The life of channels, wind, and bodhicitta is practice, that is, wherever the body resides, the channels reside. Because the wind resides in the channels, when the wind-mind enters the central channel, one gains control over the wind-mind, thereby simultaneously obtaining the life of samsara and nirvana. As it is said, the key to the three, soul, longevity, and life, is crucial for life activities. In reality, as mentioned earlier, the subtle part of the wind-mind, as the basis of the Alaya consciousness and memory, resides in the center of the body in the form of essence, and is sometimes called life, because it is the root that holds all the senses. Sometimes it is called longevity, because if it does not diminish, the continuity of life can be maintained. Moreover, from this part, by the power of the wind-mind's flow, it abides in the body in the manner of flowing inward. Because it itself does not have a gross body, but is a part of the wind-mind. Externally, it sometimes wanders in the form of that person's image or soul sign, and sometimes it is seen by others. When summoning the soul, the appearance, hearing, and traces of the soul sign will appear.
