Whatever appears, whatever Buddhas and sentient beings appear in the respective continuums, that very one's. The three doors and faculties of that same continuum, however many there are, all abide in harmony with the subtle root, like the essence of a tree, which is called life. By stealing that, whatever is done to it becomes subject to my will. Moreover, the extremely subtle magic of wind and mind, which is the basis of all coarse aggregates, mainly abides in the heart in the form of letters. For the pure Buddhas, too, the wind of wisdom and the appearance of wisdom abide in the form of the life of the heart. In the hearts of most beings, such as humans, they abide as the essence of their respective seeds. Likewise, for non-humans, there are their respective life-letters, and it is said that some abide in external objects. In particular, the lives of the Buddhas who have mastered the innate life by fully realizing the meaning of the nature of reality do not transmigrate, but are equal to the sphere of reality, having attained the immortal vajra body. The lives of sentient beings who have not realized the meaning of the nature of reality rely on the life-force of the respective bases of the six realms, and abide until their respective lifespans are exhausted, and because life is unstable, they possess a lifespan that decays and transmigrates. Those who are particularly arrogant due to the increase of the five poisons and the power of karma. The lives of demons and Yama, which arise from the power of hatred, are like iron wolves, the size of bumblebees, eighty thousand leagues below Mount Sumeru, inside a doorless iron city, placed inside a black rhinoceros-hide box, nailed with iron nails, and abide there. The lives of mothers and yakshas, who are arrogant due to the power of desire, are like copper sand slabs, the size of a hoopoe's head. In the depths of the great ocean. Inside a turquoise tent, placed in a turquoise box, found with iron nails, and abide there. Those who have become arrogant due to the power of ignorance, the lives of the four kinds of nagas, are black poisonous snakes with wings, placed in a tortoise shell, nailed with blue nails, and abide in a fragrant lake. The lives of constellations and kings, who are arrogant due to the power of pride, are like conch garudas, the size of fire sparks, placed in a conch shell container. Soaring in the sky, by the wind
