我，一个出身低微、持有宁玛派法统的人，也因三门没有虚伪，依靠上师的教言和自己的意愿，想要撰写一部《噶举》的释论，但未能及时成熟，所以就搁置了。水龙年（1952）神变月二十一日，我的上师仁波切以示现收摄色身的方式，在五台山融入班禅比玛拉的意界之后。最近，谢谦巴·嘉擦仁波切师徒以吉祥的天物、伏藏的天铁金刚、品质上乘的珍贵珊瑚念珠、以及作为人类宝藏的德炯容器等众多物品，恳切地劝请我撰写一部关于《噶举·德谢杜巴》的总论，还有许多有心之人也劝请我。 因此，名为南嘉的我，在水蛇年（不确定）于寂静的莲花喜乐处，对《德谢杜巴》进行了六个月的闭关实修，以禁语的方式严加守护，并祈祷，之后又供养了荟供等。在那一年的射手月十八日，突然产生了写作的意愿。于是，我以莲花生、比玛拉、贝若、南开娘波这四位智者所著的《德谢杜巴》的解释方法之论为基础，并以《噶举·宗仲》和上师的口诀等加以点缀，日夜不停地书写，在书写命轮部分时，内心体验非常强烈。之后，通过供养荟供等，认真地书写，在那一个月二十一日的早晨，圆满完成。作者是米旁·蒋扬·嘉贝多杰，又名切秋·嘉贝匝。以此愿全知胜者的教法，特别是密咒金刚乘，尤其是《德谢杜巴》大修的法统，在一切时处兴盛、发展、永不衰落。愿依此威力，一切众生的两种成就都能轻易获得！具足功德的空行母众与黑汝嘎，以及奉命的无与伦比的炽燃云雾。

I, a humble person holding the Dharma lineage of the Nyingma school, also wished to write a commentary on the Kagyé, relying on the words of the lama and my own aspiration, without any deceit in the three doors, but it did not ripen in time as it should, so it was left there. On the twenty-first day of the month of miracles in the Water Dragon year (1952), after my precious lama showed the act of gathering the form body in this field, dissolving into the mind sphere of Panchen Vimala at Mount Wutai. Recently, Shechenpa Gyaltsab Tulku Rinpoche, along with his disciples, earnestly urged me to write a general treatise on the Kagyé Deshek Düpa with auspicious divine substances, terma-born sky iron vajra, high-quality precious coral rosary, and the vessel of Dekyong, the jewel of human beings, and many other objects. Many interested people also urged me. Therefore, I, named Namgyal, in the Water Snake year (uncertain) at the secluded Padma Delden, performed the practice and accomplishment of Deshek Düpa for six months, strictly guarding it with a vow of silence, and prayed, and then offered tsok offerings and so on. On the eighteenth day of the Sagittarius month of that year, a sudden desire to write arose. So, I based it on the treatises on the method of explaining Deshek Düpa composed by the four scholars Padjunga, Bimala, Vairo, and Namnying, and embellished it with Kagyé Dzongtrang and the lama's instructions, writing day and night continuously. When writing about the life cycle, the inner experience was very intense. Afterwards, by offering tsok offerings and so on, I wrote diligently, and it was completed well on the morning of the twenty-first day of that month. The author is Mipham Jamyang Gyepai Dorje, also known as Chechok Gyepe Tsal. By this, may the teachings of the omniscient Victor, in general, and the secret mantra Vajrayana, in particular, this lineage of the great accomplishment of Deshek Düpa Kagyé, flourish, develop, and remain undiminished in all directions and times. May all sentient beings easily attain the two siddhis through its power! The assembly of glorious dakinis and Heruka, and the unbearable burning clouds of the command attendants.

于此恭敬信奉者，祈降如意成就之甘霖。与成就之持明众聚，以及诸佛菩萨之喜悦容颜显现后，伴随歌声与美丽之花雨，于今赐予吉祥善妙。愿此殊胜之道，于一切方所与时，极度增长且不衰退，凭借此力，愿地、中空、虚空之所有范围，皆充满咒语之盛名。如是说。吉祥圆满！ 那摩咕噜贝！蒋扬说法狮子麦彭南巴嘉威饶绛列谢巴切斯竹德钦波噶耶吉吉敦南谢迪尼。大圆满阿底瑜伽之总集者金刚持贝玛嘎旺洛智塔耶之足，欲如意宝般安住于珍宝宝藏之中央，为成办此愿，堪布大慈悲扎西沃热西威宁布之尊前，以此汝当付梓之教言顶戴，以清净无上之此阶梯，具足观视之善缘定解。诸引导师上师三族怙主之无量慈悲所护，尤为至尊上师圆满正觉多吉子智扎以非一次之大恩摄受之名索南贝珠巴或蒋扬格勒确培，以法施外壳所造，于八邦度丹确科之印经院五库聚集之无量宫中安住，愿以此善业，令总的胜法与特别是密咒金刚乘于此世间兴盛长存，愿彼等之执持者上师之莲足永固百劫，愿自他一切有情众生，皆能轻易享用殊胜与共同成就之大海。愿一切时中吉祥增长！ 索南耶谢措尼永苏佐，华丹瑟当西威觉巴杰，竹秋喇嘛南吉钦拉贝，策让内美三顿伦佐雪。此乃钦哲旺波所书，善哉！

To those who respectfully believe here, may you shower down the rain of desired attainments. With the assembly of accomplished vidyadharas, and after the joyful faces of the Buddhas and Bodhisattvas have appeared, may you bestow auspiciousness and goodness today with songs and beautiful flower rain. May this supreme path, in all places and times, greatly increase and not decline, and by this power, may the entire scope of earth, intermediate space, and sky be filled with the great fame of mantras. Thus it is said. Mangalam! Namo Guru Bhya! Jamyang Speech Lion Mipham Nampar Gyalwai Rapjam Lekpar Shepai Chash Che Drubde Chenpo Kagye Kyi Chidon Namshé Dini. The collector of the great secret teachings, Vajradhara Pema Garwang Lodrö Thaye's feet, wishing to place it like a wish-fulfilling jewel in the center of the great treasure of precious jewels, in order to fulfill this wish, Khenchen Great Compassion Tashi Ozer Zhiwai Nyingpo, with the instruction that you should print this, I prostrate at the crown of my head, with the fortunate understanding of seeing this pure and supreme staircase. Protected by the immeasurable compassion of the guides, the gurus, the three protectors of the family, and especially by the great kindness of the supreme guru, the complete Buddha Dorje Ziji Tsal, who has taken me in not just once, the name Sonam Peldrub or Jamyang Gelek Chöpel, created with the outer shell of Dharma giving, resides in the immeasurable palace of the Palpung Thubten Chökhor printing house, where the five treasuries are gathered. May this virtue cause the general victorious Dharma and the secret mantra Vajrayana in particular to flourish and remain long in this world, may the lotus feet of the gurus who hold them remain firm for hundreds of kalpas, and may all sentient beings, self and others, easily enjoy the ocean of supreme and common attainments.
