Furthermore, the nectar of Dharma is the eighty-four thousand collections of Dharma, because they make one eternally free from death. The meaning of all such collections of Dharma ultimately converges in this nectar teaching, which is explained in terms of eight perfections. The nectar of meaning is that all dharmas are primordially pure, and that the names of samsara, cause and effect, and death do not exist; this is the meaning to be realized. It is explained through the eight consciousnesses. The nectar of signs is that, because such is the nature of reality, all appearances of phenomena are doorways symbolizing that nectar; therefore, it is called the nectar of signs. It is explained in terms of eight objects of focus. The nectar of substances is the substances known as nectar in the world. Through skill in their nature and methods, all are transformed into the essence of immortality through the method of practice. The method of practice is explained in the nectar tantras. Therefore, it should be known as the way of eight meditations. In addition, other ways of classifying should also be understood. Thus, the four types of nectar, such as the nectar of Dharma, which have been explained, can be summarized into two: unmixed nectar and perfect nectar. Unmixed nectar is the practice of gathering all outer and inner phenomena, the environment and its inhabitants, into the five nectars, and practicing on the five buddha families. As it is said, "Self-arisen, primordially pure." That is, feces, urine, mamsa (মাংস,梵文天城体,梵文罗马拟音,汉语字面意思), rakta (रक्त,梵文天城体,梵文罗马拟音,汉语字面意思), and semen, the five nectars, each divided into eight roots, inner and outer, are the root medicines. These are considered impure and discarded in the world, but if accepted, one can attain the accomplishments of the five families, eliminate the five diseases, and from the beginning, without impurity, realize the nature of great purity, great bliss, and nectar, in accordance with the view, thereby enhancing the power of realizing equality, and pleasing the assembly of dakinis, quickly attaining accomplishment. As their support and benefit, there are the six good medicines, and all medicines that grow from the earth, such as arura, and all the flesh and blood of creatures living on land and in water. Alternatively, through taste, power, or color, they are divided into five categories and practiced as medicine. This is also nec

The five main essences have eight roots, and each is divided into two types, color and shape, making fifty. The inner vow substance essences have five roots, divided by color and power, making fifty, for a total of one hundred. Dividing these by skillful means and wisdom makes two hundred. Further dividing these into five aspects—body, speech, mind, qualities, and activity—results in a thousand, hence it is called medicine that combines eight roots with a thousand branches. Like this, by combining with similar types and groups, all types of medicines related to harmony, protection, and health are combined, and it is called the essence of vast millions of roots. Such nectar has eight aspects of meaning: the cause of nectar, its nature, its conduct, its activity, its qualities, its scriptural authority, its meaning, and the instructions of nectar. First, the cause of nectar is the union of the two parents, residing as the union of Samantabhadra and Samantabhadri, or in general, from the essence and great entity, that is, generated from the realm of completely pure appearance and existence. The nature of nectar is the five elements, the five aggregates, the three doors, the three realms of existence, all are inherently the nature of nectar. The conduct of nectar is shown as the activity of eating and enjoying, whatever is enjoyed is engaging in the activity of nectar. The activity of nectar is to pacify the four hundred and four types of diseases, eliminate the five poisons, and destroy the four maras. The qualities of nectar are to possess the meaning of the dharmadhatu, the mind of enlightenment, without birth, death, gathering, or scattering. The scriptural authority of nectar is like this: the scriptural authority of view, the scriptural authority of conduct, the scriptural authority of practice, the scriptural authority of vows, the scriptural authority of activity, the scriptural authority of mandalas, and the scriptural authority of wisdom, all are included within the scriptural authority of nectar. All of these are for the purpose of eliminating the poison of conceptualization with the medicine of wisdom and bestowing the state of irreversible attainment. The suchness of nectar is that the outer five elements are also the suchness of nectar, the inner five vow substances are also the suchness of nectar, and the secret dharmata, the mind of enlightenment, is also the suchness of nectar, there is no other nectar apart from these three, because they inherently abide in nectar. The instructions of nectar are: the nectar of wisdom that never dies, that is taught as instructions from the mouth of the glorious and venerable lama to the ear of the disciple.
