Guiding them to plant aspirations is: This is the gate of the great bliss of the West. If guided from the Indian sound, it is said as "Pashchima Paschima." Bliss is also called "Pashchima." Therefore, when arriving at the gate of the great bliss of the West, just as the Tathagatas, Arhats, perfectly complete Buddhas of the past, also entered the gate of the great bliss of the West and manifested perfect complete enlightenment, in order to plant aspirations in accordance with this, please repeat these with devotion: In the mandala of the Bhagavan Amitabha of the West, to all the Sugatas, such as the Bhagavan glorious Amitabha, who have come to this mandala by the power of the vow, with the name "So-and-so," I respectfully prostrate. I offer with superior offerings and unsurpassed offerings. After acting according to the scriptures in the mandala of the assembled Sugatas, with the merit of entering after generating the mind of enlightenment with the name "So-and-so," may the two obscurations of the name "So-and-so" be purified, may the two great accumulations be completed, may the wisdom of individual self-awareness be attained, may the state of Buddha Amitabha be attained. Then, visualize being seated beside the northern gate, make the hand gesture of opening the gate, and repeat these: In this pure northern world, in order to generate the most excellent action, in order to accomplish activities and siddhis, I enter with faith. Guiding to make aspirations: This is the gate of great equanimity in the north, translated from the Indian language it is called "Uttara", great equanimity is also called "Uttara", therefore, when going to the gate of great equanimity in the north, just as the Tathagatas, Arhats, and perfectly enlightened Buddhas of the past, having entered the gate of great equanimity in the north, attained perfect enlightenment, please believe that you will make aspirations in accordance with this. In the mandala of the Bhagavan Amoghasiddhi in the north, to the Bhagavan Amoghasiddhi, etc., to all the Sugatas who have come to this great mandala by the power of samaya, with the name of so-and-so, I respectfully prostrate, offering the supreme.
