Like clouds, rain, and thunder in the sky. The shape, color, and form of the mind, Cannot be determined, it is the self-radiance of emptiness. Appearing in various ways, it is the path of illusion. Ultimately, where will the mind go? For example, when the world of the four continents is destroyed, The great emptiness dissolves into the sky. The emptiness of the sky cannot be destroyed. Likewise, the body and the perceived objects vanish, Dissolving into emptiness, but this mind is not emptiness. In short, the essence of the mind is clear emptiness. To be attached to it, to be biased is wrong. Look at the uncreated, self-arisen wisdom, without attachment. As it is said, the explanation is as follows: First, the place of arising of the mind is emptiness like the sky. For example, the outer world, the earth, etc., are also formed from the state of emptiness, because they cannot be determined, so everything arises. The birth, aging, sickness, and death of the earth, crops, and sentient beings are like clouds in the sky, and the rain and thunder that arise from them. The mind has no shape, color, and form, although it cannot be determined, the self-radiance of emptiness, in the objects of the six senses, appears in various ways, which is wrong. In the middle, the dwelling place of the mind is not fixed. The self-appearing inner and outer world, aggregates, elements, sources, consciousness, wherever it dwells, cannot be completely determined. Ultimately, where the mind goes cannot be calculated either, for example, the outer world seems to be constant and unchanging, but eventually it will be destroyed by seven suns and one water, etc., dissolving into the great emptiness. The emptiness of the sky cannot be destroyed. Likewise, one's own body and all external objects are destroyed and become emptiness, but this mind is not emptiness. There is only one mind, but it manifests various abilities, so it cannot be counted. Thus, in the instructions of the Kadag tradition, it is said: For your own Bodhicitta, look at the mind again and again, there is no shape and color, no direction and parts, no edge and center, no place of arising, dwelling, and going, nothing is established in emptiness, if you see this clear and pure point, you will recognize yourself. Thus, the essence of the mind is clear emptiness, the inseparability of appearance and emptiness, clarity and emptiness, awareness and emptiness, bright, clear, sharp, shining, free from the extremes of elaboration.
