Having bent down, consciousness dissolves into the realm of Dharma. Oṃ āḥ hūṃ a-tsik ner-tsik na-mo bha-ga-va-te hūṃ hūṃ āḥ hūṃ hūṃ phaṭ phaṭ. This is the root mantra, recite it as much as possible. If you are inclined to recite the armor mantra, focus on the gathering and dispersing of the life force of each. Oṃ ya-mānta-ka ha-ya-grīva vajra-pāṇi dhā-ki-nī ha-ri-ni-sa ga-ru-ṇa hūṃ phaṭ. When reciting the mantras of Fire Garland and Iron Scorpion, from the red Hūṃ in my heart, countless black Hūṃs pervade the world, filling all appearances and existence. All the Hūṃs transform into the wrathful Yaksha Fire Garland, dark purplish-black, holding a vajra hammer and an iron hook, blazing with the fire of the eon's end, filling all appearances and existence, causing the eight classes of gods and demons, enemies and obstructors, to tremble, be startled, faint, and fall. Think that they are being beaten, burned, and killed. From the face of the self-existing Padmasambhava, the light rays of the mantra shoot out like razor blades, shooting forth from the mouth of Fire Garland, shattering the harm-doers into pieces. The neck is severed. At the end of the root mantra, add: Oṃ vajra yakṣa hūṃ rakṣa hūṃ phaṭ. When the sign of power is firm, at the end of the root mantra, add: A-ya-ma du-ru-tsa śa-na sa-ma-ya hūṃ phaṭ. This is the addition for the eight classes of spirits. To the heart mantra of Rātsa, the harm-doing elemental spirit, add: Mā-ra-ya hūṃ phaṭ. And then recite. The tenth is the act of praise. If you wish to elaborate, recite the full elaborate praise from the text. If you wish to condense it slightly, recite: Hūṃ! Noble Padmasambhava, Vajra Fierce Power! Body color red, like the color of fire, adorned with a blazing fire heap of the eon's end, the red sparks of fire swirling like stars, six ornaments of precious bones radiantly displayed, eight charnel ground garments made as ornaments for the body, hair smooth and thick, topknot swirling upwards, three eyes glaring, upturned and wide open, scattering the hordes of demons in the space of the intermediate realm into ashes. The right hand holds a nine-pointed thunderbolt vajra, marked with nine Raṃs, Hūṃs, and Phaṭs, able to level all the great Mount Merus, able to pour out all the great oceans into a bowl, able to smash the white skull into pieces, able to scatter the Bi-kar and Gyal-'gong into dust. The left hand holds an iron scorpion with nine heads and nine eyes, devouring the life force of the Gyal-'gong, subduing the nine heads of the Raksha demon, devouring the heart of the Bi-kar 'gong.

Cutting off the armies of māras, subduing the unruly, The terrifying body of Vajra Yaksha, I prostrate and praise the body of the nine-headed iron scorpion! Destroying the habitual tendencies of attachment to the six realms, Loving like a mother and sister, I prostrate and praise the assembly of mothers and ḍākinīs! Abiding by the commitment and not straying from the activity, Maintaining the balance of good and bad, cutting off the aftermath of the samaya, I prostrate and praise the assembly of obedient workers!
