Regarding the meaning of the instructions, one should prioritize the practice of hearing, thinking, and meditating, and strive with one-pointed effort. Here, clarifying the Bardo of Dying is like a beautiful woman looking in a mirror, where the instructions previously practiced clearly arise in the mind at this time. Believing in one's own appearances in the Bardo of Dharmata is like a child entering its mother's lap, having confidence because the meaning of practice has been integrated into experience, so no matter how the appearances of Dharmata arise, there is no fear, but rather certainty that self-appearance is the play of wisdom. Continuing the momentum of karma in the Bardo of Existence is like a fox entering a broken ditch. No matter how illusory appearances and fears arise, rely on previous habits and the key points of practicing the instructions of the Bardo of Existence, thereby accomplishing pure rebirth and attaining liberation. The detailed circumstances of these points should be received from other texts, and especially from the mouth of a Lama who is the embodiment of wisdom. By practicing Guru Sengé Dradrok (Guru Lion's Roar), one protects against the fear of external wild animals and pacifies the fear of internal Bardo illusions. This wish-fulfilling jewel-like instruction is the sixth chapter. Auspicious! The seventh instruction is the practice of Guru Padma Vajra Tsal. Inside the protection circle, in the sky in front, to symbolize the Hearer Vehicle, scatter precious jewels and pearls blazing on the pistil of a lotus. Above that, in order, is the head of the Asmagarbha tree, symbolizing the Solitary Realizer Vehicle. A mountain of red and white precious jewels, symbolizing the Bodhisattva Vehicle. A one-pointed Vajra rock of Kriya. A three-pointed Vajra rock of Upa. Filled with five-pointed Vajra rocks of Yoga. A nine-pointed Maha. An eight-petaled red lotus of Anu. The seat of the union of the sun and moon, symbolizing Atiyoga, that is, on top of the complete nine seats symbolizing the nine successive vehicles. The essence of all Buddhas of the three times, the root Lama, Guru Amitabha, Lord Padma Vajra Tsal, body red in color, with three faces, six arms, and four legs. The right face white, the left blue, the middle red, displaying a wrathful smile. With nine eyes, complete with wrathful wrinkles. Black hair tied in a topknot, adorned with jewels at the top. The first two hands hold a vajra and bell, embracing the consort. The middle two hands hold a sword and a kapala. The last two hands hold a vase of longevity and the sky.
