Then, for the sake of the empowerment of the eighth instruction, the Black Hayagrīva Guru, visualize the front generation and the teacher as follows: In the sky in front, in the middle of a vast ocean, blue and clear, a blazing fire is burning. On top of that, on a seat of stacked skeletons, tiger skin, and male and female Rudras, and on a sun disc, the essence is Guru Padmasambhava, the form is the glorious Great Hayagrīva, the body is black, with one face and two hands, beating a sengdeng drum on his left knee. The two feet are in a short, strutting posture. He has bone ornaments and a green horse head flashing from his hair. On the crown of his head is a lotus skull garland, holding a red and black hand drum and bell. Embracing the consort Vajravārāhī. Surrounded by a retinue of four classes of ḍākinīs. The consort Krodheśvarī is blue, holding a curved knife and skull cup, embracing him. Complete with glorious and charnel ground attire. In the four directions are four ḍākinīs holding the four mudrās, etc. Meditate on being surrounded by a host of wrathful deities and wrathful mothers, and recite this. Dangerous roads... Killing and taking... Hesitation... Uḍḍiyāna mudrā... Tso ra... Uḍḍiyāna... Thoughts... Recite three times. Holding the statue, say this: Hūṃ! This is Padmasambhava, etc., for the benefit of beings. Holding a crystal rosary, say this: Hūṃ! This is the essence of Guru, etc., for the benefit of beings. Recite this mantra: Oṃ āḥ hūṃ guru krodha hayagrīva krodha harinisa samaya jaḥ kāleśvara siddhi phala hūṃ!
