The wisdom of that instant also arises with naked, clear awareness, without ceasing. As soon as it arises, realize that it is not inherently established, like a water moon, inseparable from appearance and emptiness. Third, combining it with the fierce, wrathful attitude: In undistracted mindfulness, tighten the reins, without losing radiance, rise from that state and take erratic steps. Move the eyes and look. Utter "Haha Hihi" and so on, and exert awareness, without losing the thread of mindfulness, practice diligently, thereby realizing self-arising, self-manifesting, free from elaboration, without anything to discard or retain, like waves dissolving into the ocean. One should train in this, because the more numerous the circumstantial appearances, the more emptiness and wisdom will increase, just as the more firewood, the more flames. From these, the Hearers cause the three doors to abide in their own nature. Bodhisattvas make the abiding stable. Wrathful ones bring stability to completion, and the experiences and realizations of tranquility and insight arise quickly. Ultimately, the realization of the spontaneously accomplished Great Perfection will directly manifest. Third, the three methods of abiding that are commonly important in the twenty-one empowerment stages are: Undistracted, unelaborated, and uncontrived. That is, without allowing the mind to be completely carried away by external and internal circumstances, but abiding in a state of undistracted alertness; without binding the three doors too tightly, but abiding relaxed and natural, without effort; and without regarding thoughts and awareness as separate, different, or dependent on antidotes, but abiding in self-clarity and self-purity. This also includes the essential meaning of the meditation on the three doors of liberation taught in the common vehicle. In this context, the methods for clearing away the pitfalls of sinking and excitement are the same as in other instructional texts. In particular, if a state known as "lethargic quiescence" arises, a murky state in which the mind lacks clarity, it should be cleared away with the attitude of a wrathful deity, and it is crucial to always ensure that awareness has a sharp edge. Second, the practice of higher seeing is divided into two: the view of the intermediate turning of the wheel and the view of the final turning of the wheel. The first is divided into two points, the first of which is to establish that external grasping is without an object: One should determine that all phenomena, including samsara and nirvana, are like illusions or dreams, merely imputed by one's own mind, and that there is not a single particle of true existence. By looking at the nature of whatever appears, it will appear as appearance and emptiness, without grasping.

Second, the method of determining the severance of the mind that clings inwardly is: If it has been extensively explained during the mind training earlier, then it is sufficient to rest in the self-nature of non-elaboration here. If it has not been extensively explained, or if it has been explained but not determined, then: First, investigate the root of thoughts: Who is it that wanders in samsara and experiences happiness and suffering, which of the three, body, speech, and mind? By examining which is the most important, it is known that the root of everything is the mind that clings to self. Second, look for flaws: The three, body, speech, and mind, as well as self and other, samsara and nirvana, are all distinguished by the mind. Determine that it cannot be established in any aspect of one or other, existence or non-existence, is or is not. Third, examine the three, source, dwelling, and destination: Examine where this mind first arises from, where it dwells in the middle, and where it ultimately goes, and as a result, the location of the three cannot be determined, and resting in the state of being free from the three extremes of arising, ceasing, and abiding, is in accordance with severing the proliferation of sectarianism. Second, meditate in accordance with the final turning of the wheel: That mind that was determined earlier, nothing is established. Do not cling to the thought of "it is emptiness," but rather maintain the naturally arising and self-illuminating awareness, the clear and empty nakedness, in a natural and unfabricated state. By resting in the view of the three separations of the four parts, the nature of the mind is rootless and baseless, and awareness is the Dharmakaya that is primordially self-arisen, the heart essence of the Sugata, Kuntuzangpo and Padmasambhava are not to be sought from elsewhere, therefore, one will gain mastery over the view of self-appearance without distinction. Third, there are two aspects to meditating on union: Actually speaking about the method of practicing union in quiescence and insight, and explaining the additional special meaning. First, in the guiding texts and scriptures, there appear limitless methods of instruction, all of which are related to the essential points of profundity, but the three essential points of the uncommon instructions of this tradition are: One's own mind, the essence of empty and clear awareness that transcends the qualities of shape, color, and characteristics, just let it be nakedly self-illuminating! Hrig ge! Sa le! By awareness, recognize the primordially pure original state, Samantabhadra, the view of wisdom that is thorough and unobstructed, recognize it on oneself, this is called "recognizing oneself." If one recognizes naked awareness, then no matter how thoughts of dwelling, moving, sinking, rising, good, and bad appear, the nature of awareness will not be changed by objects, will not be obscured by clinging, all the bubbles
