The Dharmakaya of all the Buddhas, Amitabha, Avalokiteshvara, Wrathful King, lord of life, Subduing all the hosts of obstacles with blazing fire, I prostrate and praise the mighty horse-sound laughter. From the body itself, a stream of nectar descends, Pervading all the channels and elements, protecting the inner obstacles, From the nine outer gates, the pores of the hair, The nature of the Wrathful King swirling with nectar, Becomes a molten mass of various vajras, Empowerment is also bestowed with the sign of the lotus horse-face. Hrih (Tibetan: ཧྲཱིཿ, Sanskrit Devanagari: ह्रीः, Sanskrit Roman transliteration: hrīḥ, Chinese literal meaning: Hrih!) The Buddhas empower as the crown of the lineage, Diligence, swiftness, the horse-face roars fiercely, By empowering with the mudra of the horse-faced countenance, May (we) obtain the supreme empowerment of the Wrathful King who subdues obstacles. Hrih Hayagriva Padma Udbhava Abhisincha Mam (Tibetan: ཧྲཱིཿཧ་ཡ་གྲཱི་ཝ་པདྨ་ཨུདྦྷ་བ་ཨ་བྷི་ཥིཉྩ་མཱཾ, Sanskrit Devanagari: ह्रीःहयग्रीवपद्मउद्भवअभिषिञ्चमां, Sanskrit Roman transliteration: hrīḥ hayagrīva padma udbhava abhiṣiñca mām, Chinese literal meaning: Hrih Hayagriva Padma Udbhava Abhisincha Mam!). Saying this, above the horse-face, the lord of the lineage, Amitabha, is visualized as a sphere of light. Then, from the heart-essence of the conch-house deity, Light radiates, especially from the peak of Mount Potala, From the innermost chamber of the crystal palace, invite the vase empowerment, pour the vase water. From the tongue, the syllable Ah (Tibetan: ཨཱཿ, Sanskrit Devanagari: आ, Sanskrit Roman transliteration: āḥ, Chinese literal meaning: Ah!) radiates light, all the mantra garlands, dissolve into nectar, pervading all the channel-wheels of all the deities, stabilizing the great vase's vital wind-energy. Holding the mirror to the throat, say these words: Hrih (Tibetan: ཧྲཱིཿ, Sanskrit Devanagari: ह्रीः, Sanskrit Roman transliteration: hrīḥ, Chinese literal meaning: Hrih!) From these seven syllables, a supreme body arises, The Sambhogakaya, the protector of beings, Avalokiteshvara, The guide of the six realms, the nature of great compassion, inseparable from the deity.
