In order to lead sentient beings wandering in the degenerate age to the state of Buddhahood, I request to enter the complete Lama's empowerment chamber to engage in recitation, practice, and empowerment. Recite three times. The Lama then says: Ho! If one has not cultivated in the past and does not possess fortune, then entering is difficult and the faults are great. Transgressing the teachings will bring suffering in this life and ruin in the next. If there is no karmic connection, then return! Is there any? Will you forget? Can you protect it? Answer these questions and repeat the following: Ho! I am a son of a fortunate lineage, eager to enter this mandala. Whatever vows the Lama speaks, if I transgress the teachings, my head will explode! Make him take the oath. Then, the Lama holds the vajra and bell of vows and the vase in his hands, and bestows nectar with the royal seal. Hum! Listen, son of a fortunate lineage! You have wandered in the three realms of samsara in the past, distracted by the waves of the five poisons, not building the fortress of meditation, wandering in the state of bardo, not guarding pure discipline, indulging in the mire of desire, not wearing the armor of patience, wandering on the dangerous path of bardo, the eyes of wisdom have become blind, wandering in the dark continent, not giving alms to all directions, wandering in the realm of the hungry ghosts, busy with the plans of this life, but wandering in the realm of the next life. The place where you are staying is the cycle of the three realms and six paths. This is the pure land of Great Bliss, Oddiyana. If you can let go of the attachments of this life, then listen to my words here, take an oath and drink the water of vows! This water of vows dissolves into the center of the heart, and if you keep the vows, you will become a wisdom hero and grant accomplishments; if you do not keep them, you will become a Yaksha and Rakshasa, burning your heart and throwing you into hell! Understand this principle! Pour the water from the conch shell. Hum! This water of hell, water of wrath, boiling water, if you drink it while keeping the vows, you will attain accomplishments; if you do not keep them, you will fall into the Avici hell! Omrita Phat Dza! (Tibetan, Sanskrit Devanagari, Sanskrit Romanization, Chinese literal meaning: Nectar, eliminate) Place the vajra on the head. Hum! This vajra is the supreme steed, placed on your head, if you can keep the vows, you will achieve the supreme common accomplishments; if you cannot keep them, your head will split into a hundred pieces!
