Now, let's begin the explanation. Our sole protector, Guru Rinpoche Pema Amitayus, for the sake of all the fortunate people of the snowy land of Tibet, both rulers and subjects, and especially for those disciples who are suited to their individual capacities, bestowed the great rain of profound and vast Vajra secret nectar, leading all to the supreme state of complete liberation. Among these, the teachings on immortal life accomplishment alone were given in immeasurable quantities. Here, in particular, is a detailed account of those teachings specifically given to Langdro Lotsawa Konchok Jungne. The four cycles of profound Dharma, including the peaceful and wrathful aspects of the Great Compassionate One, the profound path of life accomplishment, and others, were hidden as treasures in Lhodrak, at a place called the Heavenly Ladder, for the sake of future disciples to be tamed. When the time came, fifty years later, in an age of degeneration, the reincarnation of Langdro Lotsawa, the great treasure revealer Chögyal Ratna Lingpa, with wondrous displays of miraculous power, brought forth these treasures and placed countless fortunate beings on the path of maturation and liberation. In particular, by relying on this secret collection of life accomplishment, the master himself lived to the age of eighty-eight, overcoming all obstacles and bringing his activities to completion. The prince Tsewang Drakpa lived to the age of one hundred and ten, spreading the teachings of the profound treasures far and wide, becoming an inexhaustible source. Until now, all those who have practiced this profound Dharma have attained the accomplishment of complete life, and therefore, the blessings of this lineage are far superior to others. Among these, there are the extensive and concise initiation rituals for ripening, including the empowerment of the torma. Now, we will perform the complete extensive initiation, including the supreme empowerment, in due order. Since the actions that the master should perform have been perfectly completed, therefore, your part is to receive the Dharma for entering the mandala and the actual empowerment. First, with the intention of offering the fee for receiving the entering Dharma, please offer the mandala. After saying this, begin the offering of the mandala. According to the common guidance, cover the face with the three syllables (Om Ah Hum), and offer flowers or a garland. Pray with intense devotion and longing to the guru and the main deity of the mandala, who are inseparable.
