May the life of the master be long! When expanded, it adorns the three realms with splendor. When condensed, it blazes with radiance on the body. When bound, it is a continuous Vajra chain. When stable, it is like an unchangeable Vajra. We are holders of the Vajra commitment. Grant us the supreme life of body, speech, and mind. May we realize the meaning of the supreme life Vajra! At this time, supplement and stabilize by reciting vowels, consonants, the Hundred Syllable Mantra, and Ye Dharma three times. Then, offer a brief praise or, according to the usual practice, make a space offering with the wisdom deities, etc. Then, urge the life deities to keep the essence of their vows with Vajra words: The retinue of the Lord of Life, the Dakinis of the lineage of Life Vidyadharas, the Sugatas of the three times, the Buddhas, the Bodhisattvas, the noble assembly, and the transcendent ones, through the blessings of the body, from the vase at the neck, from the auspicious knot at the heart, draw forth the essence of life, the seed of essence, the nature of blessing, the heart of wisdom, and dissolve them into the consciousness न्रྀः (Tibetan, Devanagari, Romanized Sanskrit, Literal Chinese meaning), contemplate becoming radiant and glorious. HUNG! The time of the great vow has come. In the beginning of the eon, who accomplished the Vajra Life accomplishment? Who obtained the absence of birth and death? Who obtained the absence of aging? The protector Amitayus and, the supreme secret Yogini White-robed Mother, in the pure land of Sukhavati, obtained the life without birth and death, obtained the supreme body without aging. The time of your vow has come. The Vidyadhara Garab Dorje and, the Dakini Great Bliss Ocean Mother, at the great river Dantik, obtained the life without birth and death, obtained the supreme body without aging. The time of your vow has come. The Vidyadhara Shri Singha and, the Dakini Precious Peaceful Ocean, in the charnel ground of Sosa Continent, obtained the life without birth and death, obtained the supreme body without aging. All the deities of life, And the great vidyadharas of practice, Equal to the extent of the sky, All the contents of the vessel are gathered into life, Resting in the auspicious vase, Please grant me, the supreme practitioner, the empowerment of longevity. The emanation of the body transforms into a thousand flashes of lightning, The emanation of speech thunders a thousand times, The emanation of mind gathers the essence of life, Urging the Gandharvas, gathering Yama, Taming the Nagas, subjugating the Yakshas, Return the stolen life to its place, Restore the diminished vitality to its original state, Circling the oceans of the four continents, Gather the accomplishments of life into the vase, Increase glory and merit for me, Show signs and omens, Grant the accomplishment of Vajra life.
