Without a hot place, there is no power to cool down! Without a field of faith, the sprout of enlightenment will not grow! If your mind is not firm, the blessings of the Three Jewels will be distant! Listen, prince! Although the Buddhas and Bodhisattvas continuously work for the benefit of beings! But the attachment to the five poisons of the six realms is too strong! So that samsara cannot be completely uprooted! Prince, if you want to save the future Tibetan people from suffering! Make your faith firm! On the island in the Sindhu Sea where you play, on the stem of a lotus flower ablaze, formed by the power of spontaneous arising, without father or mother, coming for the benefit of beings without cause or condition, I pray to the naturally wondrous one! Orgyen Padmasambhava, I pray! You are the emanation of the body of all Buddhas, appearing naturally with marks and signs, possessing a radiance greater than a thousand suns, your emanations fill the world, I pray to the wondrous emanation body! Orgyen Padmasambhava, I pray! You are the emanation of the speech of all Buddhas, born from the tip of a stainless lotus stem, with a voice greater than the sound of a thousand great dragons, proclaiming the sound of the Mahayana Dharma for the benefit of beings, I pray to the continuous speech! Orgyen Padmasambhava, I pray! You are the emanation of the mind of all Buddhas, born from the depths of a boundless ocean, with compassionate activity swifter than lightning in the sky, your profound intention is equal to the edge of the sky, I pray to the peaceful and tamed mind! For the benefit of beings, a body like a wish-fulfilling jewel, merely hearing your name dispels suffering, virtues are distinctly clear like a rainbow, a moment's remembrance leads to the path of enlightenment, I pray to you, the source of all virtues! Accomplishing deeds through the power of compassionate blessings, with the four activities of pacifying, increasing, magnetizing, and wrathful, subduing sentient beings with difficult-to-tame afflictions through skillful means, activities inconceivable like stars in the sky, I pray to the waves of the ocean of activity! Orgyen Padmasambhava, I pray! Although you accomplish the benefit of beings in the upper, lower, and four directions, you look with compassion upon the snowy land of Tibet, to all the rulers and subjects of Tibet, may you continuously bless them in the three times, liberate them from the ocean of suffering in samsara.
