Relax and rest in the natural state. Sometimes, when the sky is clear and cloudless, turn your back to the sun and look up at the sky, narrowing your gaze. For example, the emptiness and clarity of the outer sky opens up awareness, and from the pure sky of inner awareness, the secret, luminous vajra heart sky, the nature of reality that transcends all boundaries and centers, appears in an instant. Furthermore, when sinking, lift up; when agitated, lower down; integrating with all activities is the key to practicing and enhancing skill. These explain the key points of Trekchö, which reveals the reality of original purity and freedom from elaboration. Thus, the stages of guidance for Trekchö have been explained. Second, regarding the path of Tögal, which reveals the spontaneous accomplishment of wisdom, there are three points. As stated in the Tögal text that emerged from the treasure: "The preliminary is to abandon the activities of the three doors; the main practice is to rely on the stream of wisdom; the subsequent is to show the arising of experiences." The first of these, as stated in "Vast Expanse of Clarity": "In order to bring the manifest into the essential point, the outer, inner, and secret activities are: body, speech, and mind, abandon the ninefold activities." And in the treasure text itself, it is also said: "In order to make the three doors that do not abide, abide; that abide, become stable; and that are stable, become liberated." Therefore, with regard to the body, abandon all outer worldly activities, inner prostrations and circumambulations, and secret distractions and movements, etc., the three activities of the body. With regard to speech, abandon outer worldly idle talk, inner recitations and repetitions, and secret all verbal expressions, the three activities of speech. With regard to mind, abandon outer worldly delusions, inner generation stage and completion stage fixations, and secret distractions of conceptual thoughts, the three activities of mind. Thus, by abandoning the ninefold activities of body, speech, and mind, the three doors gradually transform into abiding, becoming stable, and being liberated. As stated in "Traces of the Past": "Having gained certainty of abiding, stability, and liberation, abandon all outer and inner activities." Just as it is said. Second, regarding the main practice of relying on the stream of wisdom, there are also three points. The treasure text says: "Grasp the key points of the three doors, bring the manifest into self-nature with the three key points, and introduce its meaning." The first of these, regarding the three key points of body, speech, and mind, first is the key point of the body, the text says: "First, the key point of the body is for the elements to be purified in their own place.

Moreover, the posture of the Dharmakaya is like a lion; because the moving winds are controlled, the posture of the Sambhogakaya is like an elephant; because warmth arises and the elements are balanced, the posture of the Nirmanakaya is like a sage, these are the postures of the three kayas. Thus it is said. In "Vast Expanse of Clarity" it is also said: "Therefore, the three kayas of the body, should not be constantly transgressed." And in "Rosary of Pearls" it is said: "One should abide in the manner of a lion, an elephant, and like a sage." Thus it is said, the posture of the Dharmakaya like a lion, is: squatting, soles of the feet together, knees spread outwards, palms pressed on the ground, upper body straightened, neck slightly raised upwards, eyes unblinking, staring at the sky between the eyebrows. The posture of the Sambhogakaya like an elephant, is: knees and chest close to the mouth, elbows pressed on the ground, palms supporting the waist, fingers touching the cheeks, spine straightened, eyes staring straight ahead at the sky. The posture of the Nirmanakaya like a sage, is: squatting, legs together, hands on the waist or knees, spine straightened, gaze slightly lowered, looking at the void with half-closed eyes. The benefits of these, are also said in the "Thal Gyur": "The posture of the Dharmakaya like a lion, frees one from all fears of delusion, one will see with the vajra eye. The posture of perfect enjoyment is, relying on the reclining of an elephant, enjoying the meaning of dharmata, one will see with the lotus eye. The posture of the Nirmanakaya is, relying on the squatting of a sage, the appearance of dharmata naturally manifests, one will see with the dharma eye." Thus it is said. Secondly, the key of speech is, in "After Death" it is said: "Speech is the order of learning, abiding steadily and repeating again and again." Thus it is said, one should not speak at all except for silence and a small amount of recitation and gestures. Thirdly, the key of mind is, in the "Thal Gyur" it is said: "Mind is accomplished by focusing on the dharmadhatu." Thus it is said, the consciousness of the eyes unchangeably focuses on the empty sky outside, like the sky and mind merging together, strongly restraining the consciousness, thereby the clear light of the pure dharmadhatu will arise.
