Beyond words and expressions, clear, transparent, and naked. Here, like being without conceptualization, one recognizes one's own true face by oneself. Because of the experience of self-illuminating conviction that cannot be spoken of as "this," it is called the inherent natural insight. Without straying into extremes of permanence or annihilation, clinging, bias, or limitation, one should skillfully train in maintaining the connection between equipoise and post-equipoise, like the gait of a turtle. Afterwards, severing the straying with the nail of encounter: the nature of mind is beyond bondage and liberation from the very beginning. The self-arisen awareness is the very essence of clarity and emptiness, free from extremes. Like a skilled person tending cattle, one should not let it stray into inferior realms. One should also not oppress it with the mind of desire. For whatever arises, one should simply rest slightly in the self-knowing of the naked clarity and emptiness of its essence. One should not cling to the taste of calm abiding, nor should one let discursive thoughts be carried away by distraction. Whatever arises, one should cultivate it without grasping, in the naked clarity and emptiness. If one thinks of meditation, meditator, action, actor, arising, or ariser, then the yogi will be bound by meditation. Therefore, one should cultivate it effortlessly and freely. By not clinging to abiding, one cuts off the faults within. By not clinging to clarity, one is freed from attachment to experience. By recognizing that realization and conceptualization are also of the nature of root eradication and immediate liberation, one transforms bad omens into auspiciousness. By cultivating whatever arises as the play of the Dharmakaya, one recognizes the destroyer. Second, training in the skill of awareness yoga: From the pith instruction "Buddha's Handprint": "In order to cut off the habitual tendencies of the illusion of grasping and being grasped, the training in skill is taught." This is to be meditated upon in this meaning: This mind, at times, meditate on it as the self-nature of appearance; at times, meditate on it as the union of appearance and emptiness. Also, meditate on the body and mind going unimpeded into the sky. Also, meditate on going back and forth unimpeded through the mountains. Also, meditate on going unhindered through the golden ground to the bottom of the ocean. One should train in all the activities of enjoyment of Indra, Brahma, and the Universal Monarch. Also, one should train in all the suffering activities of humans, animals, hungry ghosts, hells, and so on. These are worldly skill trainings.

The training that transcends the ritual is to train immeasurably on peaceful and wrathful deities, with and without ornaments, and so on. Also, going to Abhirati and Sukhavati, etc., requesting Dharma from the lords of those realms, and being born from lotus stalks, turning the wheel of Dharma, etc., train immeasurably. Afterwards, abide in the state of freedom from elaboration. This is the teaching on the training of a vidyadhara yogi. Each of these should be meditated on individually, or in conjunction with the instructions, and understood by the lama. Among the five subsequent dharmas, cultivating the aftermath through the practice of uncorrected mindfulness is to train in three uncorrected states: the body is not corrected; if corrected, feelings arise intensely; if not corrected, feelings are latent and not corrected. Speech is not corrected; if corrected, the movement of wind increases, causing the mind to be unstable; if not corrected, the wind is latent and not corrected. Mind is not corrected; if corrected, the opportunity for conceptualization is not blocked; if not corrected, the arising and dissolving of signs are latent and not corrected. In this state, no matter what moving conceptualizations arise, because there is no grasping at what appears, self-nature is known by oneself, and arising and liberation are simultaneous. Manifestation is liberation, free from attachment, self-luminous, free from conceptualization, and the play of the dharmakaya is spontaneously cultivated in vastness. Second, eliminating obstacles by recognizing the intrinsic nature of inner self-nature is, as before, in the state of the seven-point posture, examine whether awareness is the nature of clarity and emptiness. Appearing but without self-nature, clarity and emptiness appear nakedly. Again, by spontaneously cultivating on the very essence of clear emptiness, the object of observation and the observer are separated. In the state of clear emptiness, ungrasping, naked, and unimpeded, spontaneously and uncorrected, it is clear. At that time, knowing that the cycle of memory and thought is the play of the dharmakaya, the Guhyasamaja says: "If you know that thought itself is dharmata, then there is no other place to seek the nature of reality." Third, enhancing by recognizing that whatever arises, encounters, is dharmata, let self-arisen conceptualizations rest in their own place. Knowing that everything is one's own mind, therefore the essence is emptiness, the self-nature is clear, and it is free from the grasping of arrogant mind. Therefore, sravakas, pratyekabuddhas, ordinary beings, in general, knowing that samsara and nirvana are one, therefore the root of samsara and nirvana is cut off. Cutting it off, then the mistake is cut off in its own place. Also, if there is dullness, look at the one who is dull; if there is agitation, look at the one who is agitated; if there is distraction,
