One should examine the place of arising. If it arises, examine well how the shape and color, etc., are, and before it reaches the lineage, examine it well through abiding meditation. The second is to search for the dwelling place of the mind. As before, examine where all outer and inner containers and contents dwell. Also, examine where your own body, inner and outer, upper and lower, dwells. How it dwells, etc., alternate between analytical meditation and abiding meditation and examine. The third is to examine the place where the mind goes. Examine well where the outer and inner containers and contents go and how they go, and be aware, saying "Come." Because this is important, it is crucial to merge into it without seeing your own face. If someone with fearless, unerring, and insightful wisdom speaks, it is crucial to merge from the key point, which requires three days. Then, introduce the three bodies on your own ground. First, there is no place of arising, introduce that from the beginning it abides in the great expanse of the Dharmakaya. In the middle, there is no dwelling place, introduce the Sambhogakaya as abiding in spontaneously perfect self-illumination. Finally, there is no place to go, introduce the nature of unobstructed all-pervasiveness as the Nirmanakaya. Then, in practicing the nature of reality, distinguishing the essence and dross of wind and awareness is to meditate on vase breathing. On a comfortable cushion, with the seven-point posture, exhale strongly three times. Inhale deeply and fully through both nostrils, then place it below the navel. Slightly draw up the lower wind and hold it as long as possible. When unable to hold it, release it slowly. The focus is: meditate on the body as empty like a bamboo tube filled with air. Below your navel, focus your awareness on a white A (Tibetan: ཨ, Devanagari: अ, Romanized Sanskrit: a, Literal meaning: none) the size of a bean. When releasing the air, visualize that A (Tibetan: ཨ, Devanagari: अ, Romanized Sanskrit: a, Literal meaning: none) emitting a "phri li li" sound from the left nostril and dissolving into the sky. Also, when inhaling inward, visualize it coming from the left and focus on the white "phri li li" below the navel. If coldness is predominant, meditate on the red A (Tibetan: ཨ, Devanagari: अ, Romanized Sanskrit: a, Literal meaning: none), having the nature of fire. If heat is predominant, focus your awareness on the A (Tibetan: ཨ, Devanagari: अ, Romanized Sanskrit: a, Literal meaning: none) like crystal, possessing cool rays. If the elements are balanced, meditate on the white A (Tibetan: ཨ, Devanagari: अ, Romanized Sanskrit: a, Literal meaning: none) having the nature of light. Then, in practicing the nature of reality, the root is the three Vajra lines: Vajra A (Tibetan: ཨ, Devanagari: अ, Romanized Sanskrit: a, Literal meaning: none) Ha (Tibetan: ཧ, Devanagari: ह, Romanized Sanskrit: ha, Literal meaning: being) Space realm. Tightening, loosening, leaving as is, all evenly balanced. Precepts, time limits, dedication, and use. As it says, the body in Vajra posture, with the seven points. Grasp the key points with the A (Tibetan: ཨ, Devanagari: अ, Romanized Sanskrit: a, Literal meaning: none) and Ha (Tibetan: ཧ, Devanagari: ह, Romanized Sanskrit: ha, Literal meaning: being) winds, the upper wind.

Press down. Contract the lower air. Hold the middle air in the abdomen, like twisting three strands of rope and putting them in water. Body, speech, and mind should be tightened. If you can't bear it, say the empty sound of "Aha" and release it. Relaxation is: After that, body, speech, and mind relax like a broken rope. Loosen like a louse. Leave it in a state of non-thought. This is called connecting three air sacs, meaning that the period of holding the air and the period of relaxing are equal, that is, six air sacs are equal. The third is to keep it as it is, like a Brahmin spinning thread. The standard of the thread is neither tight nor loose, neither long nor short, free from the four faults, and as balanced as possible. Just like that example, the mind should not be tightened or relaxed. The period should be neither long nor short. Keep it as balanced as possible. Clear and bright. In a short time, the length of the period is the same as before, the top two and the bottom one are balanced. That is to say, tightening, relaxing, and keeping it as it is, these three, it is very important that the period is appropriate and balanced. If it is balanced, there will be no faults of lethargy and agitation in meditation. If it is not balanced, it will occur, so it must be completed through the experience and realization of the lama. The teaching is: Until the transmission is completed, one must be silent, avoid idle talk, and not look at the words of the secret instructions. The lama and Dharma friends should also not say superfluous introductory words. For beginners, do not talk about the wonderful experiences of having received the transmission before. The transmitters should also not talk empty theories, do not shamelessly flaunt, do not make random comments in ignorance, but touch the essence of things, make decisions on wisdom, and thoroughly understand the truth of things. If it is not like this, it will become shameless and inexperienced. Dedication and practice are: At the end of the session, dedicate the merit to the supreme Bodhi, thereby increasing it. In all actions such as walking, standing, sitting, and lying down, whatever state arises, regard it as emptiness. The heart should be full of devotion to the lama, and should not be separated from renunciation, aversion, and abandonment. After practicing like this, some people may feel that there are more coarse thoughts or delusions than before. This shows that a little progress has been made, because wisdom has been able to distinguish between essence and dross, able to recognize the flow of thoughts, and previously it was mainly latent and had not been awakened.
