Relying on the mother to sever the root of the three sources of existence, and recognizing these three as the three bodies within oneself; relying on vase breathing to distinguish between the clarity and turbidity of air and awareness; relying on tightening, loosening, and abiding to observe the original face of the meaning of self-nature; with the views of the Hearer, Bodhisattva, and Wrathful, cultivating non-conceptually in the state of insight wisdom; thus, it is explained in the above eleven ways. Third, cutting off the wrong path with the nail of spontaneous encounter, and diligently practicing with the wheel of awareness yoga. There are five subsequent dharmas, namely, guarding the practice with mindfulness and abiding; eliminating the obstacles of dualistic appearance by recognizing one's own faults and one's own face; enhancing the effectiveness of meditation by knowing that encounter is the nature of reality; passing through the cycle of day and night by entering into the sphere of clear light; and repeatedly experiencing the great bliss of the nature of reality by having no fruit of abandonment and attainment; it is explained in the above five ways. Emaho! The secret instructions on the meaning of the three roots of the supreme Dharma fruit, the view corresponds to the vast and boundless spontaneous Great Perfection, the meditation corresponds to the uncreated abiding Great Seal, the conduct corresponds to the unattached, vast, spontaneous, and unattached Chöd; this is the ultimate heart essence of the meaning of the oral instructions, for the order of practicing this key point, first, the preliminaries of leisure and endowment are difficult to obtain, death is impermanent, and aversion arises to the suffering of samsara, etc., corresponding to the common Dharma, with examples of generating renunciation and aversion to the world, etc., learn extensively from the mouth of the Lama. Second, the common and uncommon refuge, especially the mind of the secret mantra generation stage, and the ultimate mandala offering of the Tsok, purify the obscurations of body, speech, and mind with the recitation of Vajrasattva, pray to the Lama of the blessing lineage, etc., should be known like the wish-fulfilling jewel. Among the five uncommon preliminaries of the main practice, first, when the teacher and disciples gather, in a secluded and auspicious place, begin on a good day of the waxing moon. Second, sit on a comfortable cushion, in order to purify the obscurations of body, speech, and mind and obtain the fruit of the three bodies, in one's own heart, the central channel

The three channels abide like the root of life. On the right channel, Roma, abides (Tibetan: ཨཱོཾ, Sanskrit Devanagari: ओम्, Sanskrit Romanization: oṃ, Chinese literal meaning: Om). On the left channel, Kyangma, abides (Tibetan: ཨཱཿ, Sanskrit Devanagari: आः, Sanskrit Romanization: āḥ, Chinese literal meaning: Ah). In the center channel, Uma, abides (Tibetan: ཧཱུྃ, Sanskrit Devanagari: हुं, Sanskrit Romanization: hūṃ, Chinese literal meaning: Hum). Focus on these three and recite the three syllables. From the three syllables, the fire of wisdom blazes, and contemplate that all the sins and obscurations of your body, speech, and mind are burned into ashes of black smoke, and recite. Afterward, from the soles of the feet, the wind arises from (Tibetan: ཡཾ, Sanskrit Devanagari: यँ, Sanskrit Romanization: yaṃ, Chinese literal meaning: Yam), purifying the entire body inside and out. In this state of purity, rest naturally for a while. Recite in this way for one day or three hundred thousand times. Then, first, in order to restore the disturbed elements and constituents of body, speech, and mind. On a comfortable cushion, with the seven-point posture, free from the mind of conceptual grasping, naturally relax and settle down for one or two days. Second, take a piece of wood or a pebble as a support for focus, abide in a state of non-grasping, and rest naturally for two days. Third, in the space about an arm's length in front of you, take a dark blue (Tibetan: ཧཱུྃ, Sanskrit Devanagari: हुं, Sanskrit Romanization: hūṃ, Chinese literal meaning: Hum) syllable as a support for focus. Do not allow conceptual thoughts to wander to other objects. Keep the body, speech, and mind focused, and abide in this way for one day or more. Fourth, as before, in front of you, focus on a bright, thumb-sized white (Tibetan: ཨ, Sanskrit Devanagari: अ, Sanskrit Romanization: a, Chinese literal meaning: A) syllable. Merge its light with the three thousand worlds, focus on it, and then relax and let go. Abide in this way for one day. Let the awareness be clear and transparent, relaxing like the sky. These syllables should not be grasped as conceptual thoughts here, but only as anchors to prevent the mind from wandering. Fifth, with the body posture as before, fix the eyes on the sky. Expand the focus like the sky, and let awareness emerge. Then, turn the mind inward to its own nature, and gaze intently without distraction. Abide in this way for one day. In the first part of the main practice, search for the origin of the mind. For external objects of appearance, such as earth, stones, mountains, rocks, plants, forests, the container and its contents. In short, from the peak of existence to the lowest Avici hell, where do they come from? How do they come from? In what way do they come from? Examine, analyze, and meditate on all the external and internal container and its contents, and all of space. Also, examine well the nature of your own mind. Does mind arise from mind? How does it arise?
