Immediately cut it off and go! Therefore, in order to keep the vows, child, abandon fear from your heart! Do not deviate from the command given in this way, and with such a mind, repeat this vajra abandonment of fear. Insert the vajra and recite: The vows spoken by Achala, even if life is at stake, must be kept. If I should violate them, may the vajra of the Buddhas of the three times shatter my head! (Tibetan: བཛྲ་ས་མ་ཡ་ཨི་དན་ན་ར་ཀན, Sanskrit Devanagari: वज्र समय इदन नरक, Sanskrit Romanization: vajra samaya idan naraka, Literal Chinese meaning: Vajra Vow This Hell). Thirteenth, Throwing Flowers: Prepare a mandala drawn with the hand symbols of the five families. I, Achala, will explain the secret mantra as it was spoken. To examine your family, offer the flower of wisdom to the deity. Circumambulate the mandala clockwise, with the intention of throwing the flower from the east gate. In reality, within the mandala's enclosure, clearly visualize the assembly of deities of the five Buddha families, and wish that the garland of flowers previously given may fall upon the deity of the family with whom you have a connection from before. With this aspiration, recite the following and throw the flower. From past kalpas, whoever is connected, in that very mandala of the family, by offering this flower of wisdom, may we meet the yidam deity! (Tibetan: པུཥྤེ་པྲ་ཏཱིཙྪ་ཧོ, Sanskrit Devanagari: पुष्पे प्रतीच्छ हो, Sanskrit Romanization: puṣpe pratīccha ho, Literal Chinese meaning: Flower Accept Ho). Thus throwing, if the flower falls in the center, it is the vajra family, its secret name is Vajra Essence; if it falls in the east, it is the tathagata family, its name is Wisdom Essence; if it falls in the south, it is the ratna family, its name is Jewel Essence; if it falls in the west, it is the padma family, its name is Lotus Essence; if it falls in the north, it is the karma family, its name is Karma Excellent Essence. Similarly, for women, establish names of wisdom transformation such as Vajra Blissful Mother. Visualize that the deity of your own family accepts it and ties the crown back on your head. In this very essence mandala, by the blessing of offering flowers, may we recognize our own mind as the deity and attain the accomplishment of the family! Fourteenth, Inviting the Deity: Straighten your body, let your breath relax naturally, and focus in this way: In your heart, the water previously blessed with vows is the wisdom deity Vajrasattva, fully colored white, with a face, hands, and hand symbols complete, blazing and clear, focus your mind on it without wavering for even a moment. Due to the blowing of the conch, from the hearts of the deities and the guru, body mudras, speech syllables, and mind symbols descended like rain, entering through the opened heart of the disciple.
