The auspicious connections are arranged for the purpose of teaching. Having practiced the clear light of the meaning of completion stage, it lays the foundation for rising as the illusory body. Therefore, this condensed yoga is the completion stage. Thirdly, the instructions of the Mind Completion Stage should be combined with this and explained, and the subsequent collection of the yoga of the session intervals and the experiences of samadhi that arise should be especially practiced. Thus, this explanation of the instructions of the generation stage with a slight elaboration of the points of focus is arranged for the benefit of those who are temporarily satisfied with the yoga of generation and recitation alone and do not immediately enter the completion stage, or even if they do enter, do not emphasize it as the main practice. Otherwise, when mainly focusing on the completion stage itself, if the scope of the generation stage is too extensive, faults such as turning away from immediately entering the completion stage will occur. Therefore, abandoning the separate cutting of the three samadhis, the generation and absorption of the mandala, and the counting of the three perfections, maturation, and purification, and the meditation on the pride that connects the base and the result, at this time, as the basis for the completion stage, one should meditate on this condensed and essential yoga of the generation stage as follows. That is, after meditating on the three samadhis as the cause, in order to generate the mandala as the result, in the center of the protection wheel, one should meditate on the supporting palace, or if one does not meditate, then inside the protection wheel, through the generation of the three rituals, one should generate, invite, and absorb the samaya being. Mainly focusing on the clear appearance of the deity, and in the state of bliss induced by the melting bliss, one should combine the clear appearance of the deity and the pride, regarding it as an illusion, and single-mindedly train in the samadhi that does not waver from that. If one becomes weary of that, one should mainly focus on any of the coarse and subtle wind recitations, and also do a little verbal recitation, absorb the deity's body into light, and then rise from that and perform the dedication. Thirdly, the Mind Completion Stage itself has three instructions: The instruction of deciding through view, establishing the nature of reality; the instruction of experiencing through meditating in equipoise; and after that, the instruction of protecting through conduct in the post-meditation. The first is, Sumpa

In the stage of completion, first cherish the key point of determining with view, which explains the guidance of first deciding with view. This has two aspects: one is to determine the external object of grasping, and the other is to determine the internal grasping mind. The first is: View appearances as illusory, meaning that for all phenomena that appear as the container and contents of oneself and others, focus the mind on them. No matter what, all of these seem to be true, but in reality, they are just illusions of one's own mind, and there is no establishment in reality at all. Therefore, these appearances are just appearances, not true. One should practice with strong intention that they are like illusions. View all appearances as empty and vague. Afterwards, contemplate the thought "like an illusion, not true," and attentively look at the very nature of that thought itself. In this way, appearances will not cease, but a clear emptiness free from the defilement of grasping at them will nakedly arise. Without adjusting or modifying whatever arises, relax and rest in that state. As it says in the King of Samadhi Sutra: "Illusions, emanations, cities of gandharvas, like mirages, like dreams, contemplate forms as empty in nature, know all dharmas in the same way." And as it says in the Mother Sutra: "Sons of the gods, all dharmas are like illusions, like dreams." Therefore, in this way, all appearances should be decided as self-appearing, undifferentiated, illusory wisdom. The second is to determine the internal grasping mind: View the mind as free from grasper and grasped, that mind is without beginning, end, or middle, without color or shape, and cannot be pinpointed. This means: the body should be arranged in the seven-point posture, the speech should let the breath rest naturally, and the key point of the mind is: do not tighten the mind, do not loosen it, do not think of anything, and let awareness rest uncorrected like fresh butter. With the wisdom of inward looking, attentively look at the very nature of the mind itself. When looking in this way, the seer and the seen, the experiencer and the experienced, the object and the subject, etc., will reveal a state of self-luminousness without object, free from all grasping and the extremes of elaboration. Do not adjust, tamper with, or change that state, but let it rest naturally. This is the practice for those of the highest capacity, which is to completely pour awareness into it. For most people, it is difficult to recognize this because they are disturbed by conceptual thoughts. Therefore, pure awareness
