Sa! May it increase to become the auspiciousness of clear and bright light. With virtue, the kind mother who nurtured this life's body, and foremost, all sentient beings as vast as space, may they completely destroy the army that obscures their own nature through the profound path, and may they attain the state of Vajrasattva. Thus, this is written to make the profound instructions of the two stages of the practice of Vajrasattva's mind accessible for reading. This was written in response to the successive letters of earnest request from Gelong Orgyen Sonam from Chamdo, and also at the request of Gelong Drubchen Loden Lhundrub for a long time, by the ignorant Gelong Dharma Shri of Gnyos, who takes the dust of the feet of the venerable and supreme Lama, the great Tertön Chökyi Gyalpo, Terdak Lingpa, upon his head, on the tenth day of the waxing moon of the Nakshatra month in the Water Male Horse year, at the auspicious Dharma-arising Copper Lake hermitage.
