Whether the instructions and oral teachings left behind are put into practice or not? Whether the initial Dharma Lord practiced the secret mantras according to the scriptures or not, etc., due to the good or bad initial connections, the warmth or coldness of the Dharma connection will undergo various changes. In short, it is said to be the trace of whether the Samaya vows have been defiled or not. This not only relates to auspiciousness or inauspiciousness, but also relates to whether the treasure practices, etc., hit the mark, the size of the accomplishment, the sharpness or dullness of the blessing of the treasure Dharma, the extent of the activities, etc., and other things should also be known. The reason why the demon ministers who hate the Dharma, etc., plant evil wishes as mentioned above is: For the disciples of Guru's profound treasures who desire supreme accomplishment, if they mistake those superficial Dharmas as the true Dharma and practice them, then life, merit, and other good accumulations will decrease. If practiced by those short-sighted people who do not consider long-term benefits, although temporarily life, power, eloquence, etc., may seem to come as desired, those themselves become the nourishment for Samsara and the lower realms, thereby obstructing Guru's activities. False treasures that rely on other temporary causes are: For people of evil times who are mentally unstable, have many thoughts, act on whatever comes to mind without investigation, and behave frivolously like monkeys, theu rang (Tibetan: ཐེའུ་རང་, a type of spirit) and other monkey-like spirits who enjoy various deceptive tricks will intervene for fun, showing many deceptive illusions such as experiential Dharma and dream Dharma, and mislead them. Those are also similar to the former in their actions. For ordinary experiences that are not the blessings of spirits, even if one practices those Dharmas that are merely imitations, such as practice manuals, etc., there will not be much benefit or harm. Thus, there are many situations where it is difficult to distinguish between the real and the fake, so one must carefully examine and follow one that has been recognized as truly authentic. If one encounters a qualified Guru's new treasure, it is of great significance. If one is led by a false treasure, the extent of deception will be very deep. One cannot judge whether a treasure revealer is qualified or not merely by worldly misdeeds and temporary misconduct, etc. Guru himself has taught: The ways of Buddha's concealment are all uncertain and unpredictable, false and deceptive.

As it says, "Doctors are mostly pretentious, they don't distinguish between gold and donkeys." Therefore, in false treasures, there are also many who are clever in human affairs, who have seemingly good conduct, and who have great merit and power. However, even if one is a qualified treasure revealer, there are those who, without avoiding the criticism of worldly people, engage in unrestrained speech and behavior, making it difficult to reverse the decline of the Dharma and sentient beings. They take upon themselves various bad names and curses, and practice the yoga of great equanimity. Similarly, as it is said in the histories of obtaining treasures, inauspicious retinues, the power of Padmasambhava's activities, and the complete treasure revealers, that treasure revealers become ill due to improper conduct, or die due to bad omens, these are also caused by such reasons. Moreover, it is said to show that past karma is not in vain, and to make people aware that even a slight deviation from the Guru's teachings in this life can have such consequences. Therefore, the method of examining treasure revealers that is in accordance with the tradition of the previous vidyadharas is: Just as Dbonston Kyergangpa directly approached Guru Rinpoche and developed unwavering faith in the Dharma of Nyemo Sangye Wangchen, the deities of the Three Roots personally dispel doubts; and just as when Sangling went to Nedong to offer the water of longevity, many scholars examined him in detail through debate and gained faith, placing the scriptures on the scales of measurement, thereby avoiding false accusations. However, nowadays, few have the ability to examine like the former, and like the latter, no matter how those who claim to be scholars examine, it is difficult to avoid mistakes. Therefore, the most important thing is: As mentioned earlier, the ultimate secret treasury where the power of the Vajra wisdom of speech, established by Guru Rinpoche with the strength of vows, remains undiminished, is the unchanging Dharmadhatu of the treasure revealer's mind. Later, the key to manifesting that power through the cause of yellow scrolls is definitely not just relying on the yellow scrolls and looking at them repeatedly, but rather clearly and completely revealing the luminosity of innate awareness or the aspect of wisdom, and placing it in symbolic writing for observation. The meaning of awakening that power through that cause is also that the Dharma treasure of Dharmadhatu emerges in the aspect of awareness of knowledge, or the awareness of that
