Dechen Lingpa: He was born as the embodiment of the union of Drokmi Palgyi Yeshe and Yu Dra Nyingpo, in Longpo Jimgar. He resided as a mantra holder, a Vajra Holder. It is said that Kongpo Nyangkha Dechen Ling was also first established by him. From Jowo Drakkar in Lower North Tibet, he invited the profound essence of the Three Roots Kundu, as well as the Drekpa Kundul, counted as one of the nine great traditions of the Kagyu lineage. He also invited the Four-Faced Lord, the Demon Lord, and the Field Protector Father-Mother, etc. Although these teachings were invited, it seems that no large-scale Dharma transmission occurred during that time. Later, the Kagyü Drekdul tantra, transmissions, oral instructions, and new treasures descended upon Je Lama (Tsongkhapa) here, which I also fortunately received. Although the exact timing is unclear, based on other historical accounts, it seems to have occurred around the end of Sangye Lingpa's life. Later, Chöje Lingpa and others considered him to be Taksham Dorje, which is in accordance with the facts. Here, it is recorded according to the previously common account, and the biography of the great treasure revealer Takshampa can be understood from the brief outline that will appear below. Furthermore, on a slate painted with cinnabar drawings, it is written: "There will be a famine in Nub's Sekpa Lung; this treasure hidden in Khyungkang Drak, it is impossible not to extract it, signs of extraction will appear; a person named Orgyen Shikpo Lingpa will appear." The treasure revealer Shikpo Lingpa Gar gyi Wangchuk, as prophesied, is an incarnation of Lhase Damdzin. Near the place where the two Jowo Shakya statues are located in Uru, in a place called Tölung Nangtse, his father was named Namkha Wangchen Phuntsok, and his mother was named Tshewang Tänma. He was born as their son on the twenty-third day of the tenth month of the Wood Monkey year (1284), on a Sunday when the constellation Bharani was in conjunction, in the eastern pleasure chamber of the Nangtse Golden Palace, into a family of great ruling ministers. At the age of five, he requested hair cutting and body transformation from Jemen Chuwa Namkha Rinchen. (Jemen Chuwa) said, "If this child's hair is cut, it will be unfavorable to the cutter, I will bestow mantra vows and give a name." Thus, he was given the name Namkha Tshewang Gyalpo. At the age of twenty-one, while practicing treasure retrieval, he dreamed that a person said, "Your wealth is in Khyungkang Drak, this is the catalog." Then he handed him a scroll.

He saw someone hand him a book with a yellow silk cover. When he looked at it, he found that it was a very clear catalog of hidden treasures (terma). When he woke up, he clearly remembered the contents of the dream, so he recorded it. On the night of the tenth day of the fourth month of that year, he led seven attendants on horseback and set out. When they arrived near Sangpuk (gsang phug), it was dawn and the sun had risen, which he considered an auspicious sign. Because the rope in the upper part of Sangpuk was broken and there was no way to pass, they went with miraculous power to search for the signs of the terma. They found a slender water stone about an elbow's length with a picture of a burning mani jewel drawn with cinnabar. He took out that stone and opened the door to the terma, and from the ashes of coal, he took out an octagonal brick terma box, inside which were rituals concerning the practice of longevity and the gathering of the victorious ones, as well as the oath substance "Seven Births," longevity water, and so on. In addition, from the temples of Zangyak Rock (zang yag brag), Zurkhar Stone Stupa (zur mkhar rdo yi mchod rten), Uru Zha Lhakhang (dbu ru zhwa yi lha khang), Gzhotod Terma Box (gzho stod gter sgrom), Lhasa (lha sa), and Samye Monastery (bsam yas), he took out seven profound mind practice teachings, the Great Compassionate Avalokiteśvara Liberation from Samsara, the Great Perfection Secret Essence, Hayagriva Naga Subjugation, the Fierce Vajrakila Iron Meteorite Fire Wheel, the Twenty-Five Methods of Averting Warfare, and many other terma teachings, as well as inconceivable objects such as body, speech, and mind representations and oath substances. It is said that, just as the prophecy for the person who collects the terma of the Gongdü (dgongs 'dus) teachings, he also received great hospitality in Nyimphu (snyim phu). Because he attached great importance to the previous Kama (bka') and Terma (gter), he became the master of all the Nyingma Kama and Terma teachings, and widely carried out the activities of teaching and practice, becoming a pillar of Buddhism. His main disciples were: Omniscient Könchok Yenlak (dkon mchog yan lag), Sakya Dagchen Künga Rinchen (kun dga' rin chen), Tsedong Dagchen Künga Sampel (rtse gdong bdag chen kun dga' bsam 'grub), Drukpa Shabdrung Mipham Chögyal ('brug pa zhabs drung mi pham chos rgyal), and so on. Countless monastic communities from Kham, Kongpo, Tsari, Dakpo, E, Nye, Lhomön, Ü-Tsang, and so on, transmitted his lineage, so that the Nyingma school was able to continue. Among them, the Terma Master himself, Sokdokpa Lodrö Gyaltsen (sog zlog pa blo gros rgyal mtshan), and Gangra Lochen (gangs ra lo chen) were known as the "Three Nangsokgang" (snang sog gangs gsum). During their lifetimes, the Nyingma Kama and Terma teachings greatly flourished and have continued to this day.
