In Gyas Chöding, from the lineage of Thingma Nyö, the father was the emanation of Nubchen Sangye Yeshe, the great sun of the early translation teachings, Rigdzin Trinle Lhündrub, and the mother was the reincarnation of Shelkar Dorje Tsho, the goddess Dzin Yangchen Drolma's son, in the Wood Dog year, the lotus of auspicious marks blossomed. From a young age, he awakened the lineage of the holy ones, which is inconceivable. At the age of five, he offered his hair to the Fifth Dalai Lama and was given the name Ngawang Padma Tendzin. He was especially granted auspicious blessings for the future. From his venerable father, he received the grace of the three vows. He bestowed almost all of the profound teachings he possessed, like pouring from a full vase. In addition, from Gungsül Tsültrim Dorje, and from over thirty masters of the new and old traditions, headed by the Fifth Dalai Lama, he received immeasurable Dharma teachings, as recorded in the two volumes of his listening record. In Samye Chimphu and his own monasteries, he practiced diligently, demonstrating the increasing realization of the four empowerments, and ultimately attained a high level of accomplishment. He turned the wheel of Dharma immeasurably, and in the snowy mountains, he newly built the Lotus Light Ögyen Mindrolling Monastery, including the main temple and its branches, thus becoming the sole source of the early translation teachings of explanation and practice. In particular, regarding the manner in which the profound treasures descended: At the age of eighteen, from Drakmar Yämalung, the foremost of all treasure sites, he effortlessly obtained the Dharma and sacred objects of the Lama Rigdzin Thugtik. Subsequently, from Ngamshö Jhingda's Ökar Drak, he received the heart essence of the three masters, the Great Perfection Ati Profound Meaning, the practice of Vajrasattva's Mind, and the three cycles of Guru Drakmar. On the north side of Yarlung Shel Drak, in a place resembling a rock king banner, he went in the manner of a Garuda king and obtained the cycles of Manjushri Yamantaka, the Subduer of Pride. Especially in Mönsha Uktak Gö Dechen Yeshe's Wheel, he invited the Dharma and sacred objects of the profound path of Great Compassion, the Embodiment of All Sugatas, as the support treasure, the Public Treasure. By practicing these treasures according to the methods, the blessings and guidance of Ögyen father and mother, and so on, inconceivable pure visions arose.
