Just like a loving heart, with great compassion, he gazes upon the suffering and torment of sentient beings in the six realms, unable to bear it. The compassion focused on the Dharma is: Oṃ Maṇi Padme Hūṃ (Tibetan: ཨོཾཱ་མ་ཎི་པདྨེ་ཧཱུྃ།, Sanskrit Devanagari: ओम् मणि पद्मे हुम्, Sanskrit Romanization: oṃ maṇi padme hūṃ, Literal Chinese Meaning: Om! The jewel in the lotus! Hum!). These six syllables: Oṃ (Tibetan: ཨཱོཾ།, Sanskrit Devanagari: ओम्, Sanskrit Romanization: oṃ, Literal Chinese Meaning: Om!) pacifies the suffering of the gods' fall and obtains bliss; Ma (Tibetan: མ།, Sanskrit Devanagari: मणि, Sanskrit Romanization: maṇi, Literal Chinese Meaning: Jewel!) pacifies the suffering of the Asuras' fighting and obtains bliss; Ṇi (Tibetan: ཎི།, Sanskrit Devanagari: पद्मे, Sanskrit Romanization: padme, Literal Chinese Meaning: In the lotus!) pacifies the suffering of human poverty and obtains bliss; Pad (Tibetan: པད།, Sanskrit Devanagari: पद्मे, Sanskrit Romanization: padme, Literal Chinese Meaning: In the lotus!) pacifies the suffering of animal ignorance and obtains bliss; Me (Tibetan: མེ།, Sanskrit Devanagari: हुम्, Sanskrit Romanization: hūṃ, Literal Chinese Meaning: Hum!) pacifies the suffering of the hungry ghosts' hunger and thirst and obtains bliss; Hūṃ (Tibetan: ཧཱུྃ།, Sanskrit Devanagari: हुम्, Sanskrit Romanization: hūṃ, Literal Chinese Meaning: Hum!) pacifies the suffering of the hells' heat and cold and obtains bliss. Furthermore, those led by kings practice the ten virtues and attain the rank of gods in the higher realms. Even having attained the rank of gods, they have not escaped suffering. At the time of the gods' death and transference, the suffering of falling occurs: the body emits an unpleasant odor, the body's light fades, uncultivated crops and bathing ponds dry up, the intelligent horse and wish-fulfilling cow are also lost. Through clairvoyance, they know that the gods' merit is exhausted, and the unbearable suffering of seeing themselves falling into the lower realms is seen by Jowo Thukje Chenpo's (Lord of Great Compassion) eyes. Primarily driven by anger and jealousy, practicing the ten non-virtues, one is born as an Asura. During the battles between gods and Asuras, because the gods have greater merit, the Asuras are often defeated. Being struck by weapon wheels, insulted, killed, dragged, fighting internally with Asuras, quarreling, and unbearable intense suffering, knowing that one will fall into the lower realms after death, the suffering is extremely great. Even having been born as a human, one has not escaped suffering. First, the suffering of birth is: the suffering of being in the mother's womb, when the mother lifts up, it feels like being lifted to the edge of a cliff; when the mother is not full, it feels like being squeezed between rocks; when the mother is unsteady, it feels like being blown by the wind; when the mother does not sleep, it feels like being crushed by a heavy object; during violent movements and getting up, it feels like the body is breaking apart; at the time of birth, it feels like being hit by a storm and the skin being peeled off; when coming out, it feels like being thrown into a thorn bush; when the mother picks up, it feels like a baby bird being carried away by an eagle. Then, growing up, in the prime of youth, engaging in agricultural work...
