Then, comparing with two palm leaf scriptures, it didn't match, so they said this is not (the real one). They said that letters could not appear from empty palm leaves, and sent him away. Although Vairotsana had attained swift feet, he thought he could not escape the cannibalistic pass, so he made friends with the leader of the cannibals, Kumara, gave him gold dust, and made a covenant. The leader of the cannibals killed many cannibals and returned. After that, the Indian pandits had a dream, dreaming that the Indian sun was carried by a Tibetan monk and set in Tibet, all the trees and flowers withered, and all the bird songs became unpleasant. The king of Vajrasana asked the pandits what was going on, and the pandits said, 'Didn't the Tibetan monk take away the Dharma?' So they sent a fast horse to chase him. The leader of the cannibals said, 'I didn't see anyone like a Tibetan monk passing by, but there was a border Monpa man with a round head who didn't take anything. If he did, he would be about to arrive in Tibet now.' So the fast horse returned. Because Vairotsana had attained swift feet, he arrived in Tibet from Vajrasana in seven days, and went before the lord and reported: 'The Dharma that the lord desires has been obtained. The Indians are very jealous of the Dharma, the Tibetan ministers are dull towards the Dharma, and the king has soft ears. There may be slander, so please do not listen to it.' He conveyed this message. After that, the king of Vajrasana said, 'Now the trail of the Tibetan monk has not been found. Whoever is the teacher who said this, punish him.' So they performed divination, prognostication, and astrology, but they did not know who the teacher was. There was an old Brahmin woman who was skilled in the divination of dependent origination, and she said, 'I have something I saw, but I don't approve of it myself, so I dare not tell the king.' The king said there was no fault, so speak. She said, 'Oh, I see a lake on top of three mountains, and on the lake there is a colorful cushion, and on the cushion there is something with a body full of eyes and a fathom-long red beak speaking.' Everyone thought it was unbelievable. After that, the king said, 'We must send a fast horse to Tibet to spread a bad message.' So he sent two fast horses, and two acharyas arrived at the place where Vairotsana was teaching the Dharma to the king and ministers on the plain of Uru, and said, 'This Tibetan monk did not obtain the Dharma from India, but is reciting the evil mantras of the heretics.'

Because he carried many things, he would destroy (the country). Because he was a heretic, he shouted "Sod" and ran away. Then all the ministers said, "This is true, he will destroy Tibet, so we must report it to the king." The king said, "It is not so, the Indians are jealous of the Dharma." But they did not listen. The king seized a beggar from the border, put Vairochana's hat and clothes on him, put him in a copper sealed container, nailed it shut, and threw it into the river and let him go. Vairochana was also imprisoned in the palace in a pillar, which was hollowed out. Around midnight, (the king) invited him out to listen to the Dharma, and eighteen wonderful thoughts arose in his mind, and fifty chapters were completed. A Buddhist commoner and Tsepong's consort Mar Gyenma noticed and proclaimed it abroad, and all the ministers gathered and said, "You have great wisdom, smear all the gold and silver in the ancestral treasury with mud to build temples." (They also said) "Propagate the Dharma, seize the people of the border and throw them into the water, hide the evil mantra master who destroys Tibet in a cave, listen to what he says, punish him, and let him out! If he is not punished, the king's law will collapse." The king was very unhappy and asked the teacher what to do. The teacher Vairochana said, "O king, I was also born in Gyalmo Tsawa Rong, as the son of King Lek Sherje and Pamo. Now there is still some unfinished business and some beings to be tamed, so banish me there. Take care of yourself! Now in the land of India, among the Indian pandits, there lives a wise man named Vimalamitra, invite him to establish a Dharma school, and then I will present my teachings to him." The ministers believed it and said, "The two of us, the king and I, will go to meet him." The king was helpless, the power of the throne was usurped by the ministers, and Vairochana was exiled to Gyalmo Tsawa Rong. After that, when Vairochana went to Sebo near the northern yak's habitat, he looked again towards U-Tsang, like the sun rising at dawn; looking towards Kham, it was like darkness falling when the sun sets. Tears fell from his eyes, and he involuntarily went to Gyalmo Tsawa Rong and lived on the mountain, and all the birds of Tibet gathered and circled above the teacher.
