Will be blocked, because all virtuous conduct will be blocked. Therefore, the Pratimoksha vows and so on will be blocked. That person's hair and beard are shaved, and wearing the kasaya robe for the sake of holding the asceticism of the Thubpa (Buddha), etc., will become meaningless. If one does not cling to accumulating virtuous deeds and the accumulation of merit, then one will not tend towards samsara with great compassion, and in particular, one will tend not to do things that benefit sentient beings, because all virtuous conduct will be blocked. If one blocks the benefit of sentient beings, then the cause of Bodhi, the accumulation, will also be blocked, therefore, the fruit of Bodhi obtained by accumulating the two accumulations will be extended far away. If one does not benefit sentient beings, one will not attain Bodhi, which is also taught in the Holy 'Explication of the Thought Sutra': 'Not tending to the benefit of sentient beings, and not tending to accumulate accumulations, I will not prophesy him to be the unsurpassed perfect complete Bodhi.' This means that not tending to others' benefit and not engaging in others' benefit is the work of Mara. It is also taught in the Holy 'Asked by Near Round Sutra', which can be understood in this way. Where is it taught? If someone only wants to liberate himself from samsara and does not, with great compassion, take care of sentient beings who dwell in samsara, this is the most serious breach of discipline for Bodhisattvas. Similarly, it is said in that sutra that taking care of sentient beings in samsara with compassion is the best discipline. In the Holy 'Vimalakirti Sutra' it is also taught that the union of method and wisdom is necessary to attain Bodhi. How is it taught? With methods such as great compassion, in order to benefit sentient beings, one takes birth in samsara, taking care of the lives of gods and humans, this is the method for Bodhisattvas to attain liberation. If there is only method such as compassion without wisdom, one will not attain great Bodhi, therefore it is a bondage. If there is only wisdom that realizes emptiness without method, it will not become the cause of attaining Bodhi, therefore it is also a bondage. So, what is the method to attain great Bodhi? The method with wisdom that realizes emptiness is the cause of liberation. Wisdom with methods such as compassion is also the cause of attaining liberation. Third, not desiring the merits of method. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Furthermore, it is also mentioned in the 'Arya Akashagarbha Sutra' that blaming others' faults is wrong. It is said in 'The Suffering of Samsara' that becoming weary of the suffering of samsara and abandoning the benefit of others is the work of Mara (demon) for Bodhisattvas. This is also recorded in the 'Compendium of Sutras'. Explaining the meaning of the scriptures is: Some people desire to attain Nirvana from cessation, therefore they engage in discriminative thinking. Being weary of conditioned virtue is also the work of Mara. Why? Because if you abandon conditioned virtue, you cannot attain Nirvana. The so-called work of Mara refers to obstacles to attaining Bodhi. The path of a Bodhisattva is the six perfections (Paramitas). If one clearly understands this, but only focuses on emptiness and does not seek other paths of the six perfections, that is the work of Mara. The above discusses the refutation of preventing the abandonment of virtuous conduct. Refuting the Misinterpretation of the Meaning of Scriptures The sixth part is refuting the misinterpretation of the meaning of scriptures, which is divided into three aspects: refuting the misinterpretation of the meaning of scriptures in the 'Compendium of Sutras'; refuting the misinterpretation of the meaning of scriptures in the 'Sutra of the Three Aggregates'; and refuting the misinterpretation of the meaning of scriptures in the 'Brahma's Inquiry Sutra'. The first point is: If someone asks, 'Isn't it said in the 'Compendium of Sutras' that attachment to the six perfections is the work of Mara?' The sutra says that attachment to the mind of generosity, and even attachment to the mind of wisdom, is the work of Mara. However, this is not a general prohibition against practicing generosity and other perfections in the continuum, but rather refers to those who are attached to self-grasping and grasping at what belongs to self. For the mind that grasps the grasper and the grasped, and for generosity and so on that take real objects as their target, clinging in a reversed way is what the sutra intends to refute. Why is this said? Because generosity and so on, which are aroused by reversed clinging to reality, will be defiled by the impurity of clinging to reality and cannot be completely purified, so it is said to be the work of Mara. If it is not like this, preventing attachment to the reality of generosity and so on, but generally preventing generosity and so on, then meditation should also not be practiced in the continuum. If that is the case, because you have abandoned meditation, you will not contemplate anything and will not practice meditation. If you wish that meditation is not practiced in the continuum, then you... --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
