Eyes wide, like a flock of blue lotuses, Face beautiful, possessing a white hair-curl, Crown protuberance, possessing a pure and thin topknot, Skin like the color of gold, supreme among beings. Hair fine, delicate, soft, and each one, Spiraling upwards to the right on the body, Hair immaculate, like precious dark blue, Like the circumference of a fully grown nyagrodha tree. Samantabhadra, incomparable great sage, Possessing the strength of a son without craving, a firm body, Inconceivable thirty-two marks, These the Teacher declared as the signs of a king of men. Those are the fruits of engaging in aspirations, born from practice, used in the first of countless eons. If those are not understood, then it is said thus: The first ten powers are: The power of knowing what is and is not the case, like showing existence and non-existence, it will not change into something else. That is accomplished through the vows of the Bodhisattva's discipline. The power of knowing the maturation of actions is accomplished through believing in actions and maturation, and from the cause of speaking about them. The power of knowing what is superior and not superior is accomplished through the cause of showing in accordance with the order of the senses. The power of knowing the various realms is accomplished through the cause of teaching the Dharma in accordance with the various realms of the world and the various causes. The power of knowing the various inclinations is accomplished through the cause of teaching the Dharma in accordance with thoughts and inclinations. The power of knowing the path that goes everywhere is accomplished through the various vehicles and the various paths. It is accomplished through the cause of showing in accordance with the vehicles and paths. The power of knowing all the four meditations, the eight liberations, the samādhis, the attainments, all the afflictions, and the purifications is because one knows those of others, and the cause of showing them as they are, accomplished through diligently practicing samādhi in the past. The power of recollecting past lives is accomplished through the cause of not having wasted the virtue that arose from past causes. The power of knowing death and birth.
