The ground is clear, lucid, and blissful, ultimately transforming into non-conceptualization. A state will arise where there is no difference between being awake and not being awake. Do not wake up after falling asleep. Thus it is said. If you feel you have not fallen asleep, there is a possibility of waking up. If you feel you are already awake, then there will be no obstruction to any activities in the vicinity, and there is no difference between having fallen asleep and not having fallen asleep, this is grasping the experience of sleep and the luminosity of realization. This is the first stage of luminosity. The second object of luminosity, this can also be used to dispel diseases, eliminate all faults, and generate qualities. If you do not grasp it at first, then practice as before, and visualize the lama in the center of your heart as before. Connect with strong mindfulness and desire, and rest in the light of the lama's body. This is the second stage. Again, that luminosity is not grasped by anything. At the time of coarse conceptual thoughts, generate a strong desire to definitely grasp the luminosity. Visualize luminosity arising from the body of the lama himself, filling the space with light. Without losing mindfulness and desire, rest in emptiness. In this way, you will definitely be able to grasp it, this is the third stage of instruction. The eight sudden teachings are the four causes of not grasping, making eight in total. The four causes of grasping, making eight in total. The conditions for not grasping are: lack of devotion to the lama, broken samaya, weak diligence, and lack of instructions, therefore luminosity is not grasped. The first refers to not seeing the lama as the Dharmakaya. Samaya generally refers to everything, but specifically it refers to the essence of bodhicitta not abiding in the body. Weak diligence refers to lacking perseverance in virtuous practice. Lack of instructions refers to not understanding the chakras of the body, not understanding the key points of the object of meditation, and not knowing the measure during practice. The first is: if sleep is deep, then maintain a seated posture. If sleep is light, then maintain the lion posture. When walking, look at a distance of about one cubit in front of you. The second is: if sleep is light, then focus on the navel chakra. If sleep is deep, then focus on the heart. The third is the time of practice: when conceptual thoughts cease and the state of sleep is transcended, rest in desire and the object of luminosity. This is the instruction for purifying all seeds of habitual patterns and entering the luminosity of sleep, it is the classification of the sudden teachings. Mahayana.

From the army of nectar that dispels obstacles. Chapter Ten, which explains the method of maintaining the clear light from the beginning during sleep. In the dream state, from the beginning, recognize that it is a dream. The method for this is explained: It is similar to clear light. Wipe and offer a flawless mandala. Invite the guru, the Three Jewels, and the yidam deity assembly in the space in front, and offer the mandala. Pray that I may have many dreams. Pray that I may see the faces of countless Herukas in my dreams. Pray that I may see the faces of countless Buddhas and Bodhisattvas. After praying in this way, whatever you do, think that it is in a dream. After praying in this way, various things will be transformed. In half a month, someone who can display various magical powers will appear. Give the guidance for it twice. The Dharma that appears for the third time is: After practicing in this way, one can transform the body into a tiger, can transform into a crow, can sit in vajra posture in the sky, can see the face of Maitreya Buddha in Tushita Heaven, can see the face of Amitabha Buddha in Sukhavati, and so on. Wherever the mind is sent, it will be accomplished. Sounds will also come from the outside. (For example, Dharma Lord Rinpoche, yogi Chö Yung, Shangpa Mökyokpa, or great accomplished Chö Yé, etc. When Dharma Lord Rinpoche was sleeping in Drigung's hermitage, he heard what many merchants in Yakru Tang were saying.) Yogi Chö Yung was also able to transform his body into various things. At the foot of a Dagpo snow mountain, there was a pile of demon flesh, and he entered it and sat inside. He thought, "This is in a dream," and sat there. As a result, one hand suddenly disappeared. The next morning, on that snow mountain, if a non-human took a horse, there would be horse tracks; if they took a person, there would be human tracks. That night, there was a track of an empty hand. So they reported to Je Dagpo Rinpoche, "Yesterday there was a track of an empty hand on that snow mountain." Rinpoche said, "Maybe Chö Yung was joking, others wouldn't have such abilities." Because he had rich dream experience, there was a Dharma Lord father and son in his monastery, and the Dharma Lord had deposited two buckets of tea and yogurt with him, and then
