May there be auspiciousness! The aggregates of morality, etc., of the Buddhas, the Bhagavat, of the past, future, and present, and the roots of virtue from the generation of the first thought until all the teachings, are dedicated to unsurpassed enlightenment. If it is said that dedicating in this way, dedicating with the aspect of signs, will be abandoned, like that poisonous food. There is also no complete dedication for those who have a concept of an object of focus. If one is separated from the memory of dedication, or does not understand and does not pay attention, then it is not completely dedicated to unsurpassed enlightenment. If one dedicates wrongly, then it is not dedicated to unsurpassed enlightenment. If one dedicates wrongly, then it is not completely dedicated to unsurpassed enlightenment, so the Blessed One said. Then, Subhuti asked the Blessed One: Blessed One, the object of meritorious action endowed with rejoicing is said to be completely dedicated to unsurpassed, perfect, and complete enlightenment, so how much rejoicing is required to become the supreme of rejoicing? The Blessed One said: Subhuti, those who have the Bodhisattva Vehicle do not grasp the dharmas of the past, future, and present, do not become arrogant, do not fixate, do not conceptualize, do not discriminate, but rejoice in the nature of reality as it is. Dedicating in that single state, gathering the existing roots of virtue completely with conventional Bodhicitta, and dedicating the ultimate Bodhicitta without fixation. For those who are completely dedicated to omniscience, there is no difference, and there is no fixation on making distinctions. Bodhisattvas who dedicate in this way will not become inverted in perception, will not become inverted in mind, and will not become inverted in view. This is the unsurpassed dedication of a Bodhisattva. Without relying on the Perfection of Wisdom, one cannot enter into complete dedication. So the Blessed One said. Then, the Blessed One said to Subhuti: Subhuti, you have done well, well done in doing the work of teaching! Because you teach the Dharma to the Bodhisattvas, this complete dedication is the dedication of the Dharmadhatu, and the Dharmata that the Buddhas, the Bhagavat, possess is also like that.
