La (Tibetan, seed syllable, lā, meaning "la") to the supreme prayer! So it is said. In the Explanatory Tantra Vajra Garland it is also said: Through the method of secret mantra deities, the attainment of the Sambhogakaya is accomplished. Dharmakaya and empowerment, Nirmanakaya benefits beings in the ten directions. Thus, later generations of yogis, will surely achieve through that method. So it is said. This is the sequence of the arising of the fruit. In terms of the direction of the individual's mind, the views of luminosity and union are taught according to the category of the individual's mind. The vehicle for attaining Buddhahood is one, the ultimate intention of Buddhahood is one, no matter how you examine it, there is no contradiction, only our inclinations are different. This is the establishment of the view. Cutting off the root of the mind's delusion: How does the original mind, which has not arisen into samsara and nirvana, abide? How does samsara arise from delusion? How does nirvana arise from realization? The way the original mind, which has not arisen into samsara and nirvana, abides is, unmade, spontaneously arisen, the primordial, innate wisdom, in which there are five ways of delusion. If asked from where does delusion arise, it arises from the primordial. If asked by what cause does delusion arise, it arises from ignorance. If asked by what condition does delusion arise, it arises from dualistic mind. For example, it is like a dream, the fruit is the three realms and six realms. From the mind's primordial wisdom, the way the two kinds of ignorance arise is, the mixture of mind-essence and dharma-essence, is the co-emergent wisdom. However, it is not certain in appearance, one's own face is not known by oneself, it is the co-emergent ignorance. With the knowing of the clarity-grasping self, the knowing self is grasped as self, the self-appearance of the object is grasped as other, because it is separated from the wisdom of realization, the meaning of dharma-essence is not realized, it is the imputational ignorance. If asked by what condition does delusion arise, it is the primordial mind, the mind's consciousness that looks outward, the afflicted mind that looks inward, the primordial alaya and, the two wisdoms of the five sense consciousnesses, after being separated by the dualistic mind, they are not allowed to meet and be close. The afflicted mind looks inward, grasping the primordial selflessness as self, the five senses are originally non-conceptual, but the mind-consciousness grasps them as having characteristics, because of grasping the object and consciousness as dualistic, accumulating attachment, aversion, karma and afflictions. For example, the saliva of a rakshasa, like the objects of a dream.

One binds oneself. The result is the cycle of the three realms. Ultimately, there are three lower realms. Ignorance and wisdom, these two, their essence is one in the Dharmadhatu. They are different through transformation. When ignorance appears as delusion, realized wisdom is not clear. When realized as wisdom itself, ignorance and delusion do not exist. Therefore, the state of these two is different. Also, when ignorance and delusion appear, no wisdom has gone away. When realized as wisdom itself, ignorance and delusion have not been abandoned. Realized wisdom is not clear, but the essence of these two is the same. Can delusion be transformed? If it has been transformed and signs have appeared, then delusion can be transformed. If signs appear without transformation, how can delusion be transformed? The external sign is the balance of the body's elements. The internal sign is clear awareness without dullness or agitation. The secret sign is awareness free from conceptual thought. There are also five aspects to transforming delusion: The basis is the innate, inherent nature. One's own cause is the five dharmas. The condition is the noble guru. It possesses three characteristics. The method is secret mantra instructions, both gradual and immediate. The example is like waking from a dream, or ice melting into water. The result is the benefit of oneself and others, the three fully endowed kayas. Explaining one's own five dharmas: With devotion, rely on the guru. With faith, lead the retinue into the Dharma. With wisdom, understand the meaning of the Dharma. Possess samaya and the three trainings. With compassion, establish beings in enlightenment. The guru possesses three characteristics: The blessings of the lineage are infused. Emptiness is realized directly. Possesses great compassion. The method is immediate secret mantra instructions: The innate co-emergent, is pointed out like a treasure in one's hand, from within arises confidence and certainty. Co-emergent ignorance, is also decided as wisdom itself. Dualistic conceptual ignorance, is naturally liberated through experience. Dualistic thoughts arise directly, the great bliss expanse where subject and object are non-dual. For a person who has not realized this, the gradual secret mantra instructions are: Relying on the generation stage, completion stage, channels, winds, bindus, and dream yoga, illusory body, etc., wisdom gradually arises. At the end of the arising of certainty, mind itself recognizes its own face.
